34 and scheduled for an implant on 1/24/19

Hi I am new to posting on this site. I am a 34yo with lifelong ED due to a venous leak. I have decided that I am going to take the leap and get an Implant thanks to all the positive praises from this site. I have scheduled the surgery for January 24th with Dr Leo Doumanian at Keck Medicine of USC. After discussing with the surgeon I have decided that the best fit would be to get an AMS LGX due to my size. I am 5” length and 4” girth after a trimix injection. I am nervous and excited all in one as I wait for surgery day. I worry about the same things as everyone else, most importantly the size I will be left with after the surgery. When I use a VED I can get to almost 6” on the tube but my thought is that increase is due to a thick fat pad and the pumping. If I am sized correctly during surgery I assume that I will be close to the trimix size and not the VED size. Has that been your experience from the guys who had taken the plunge?

Yes, that is correct, you should be the same size as a successful tri-mix injection. That is what I was told by my surgeon.

Welcome to the forum, Tmansdorfer,
Yes. My size under the vacuum cylinder was about an inch greater than my natural erection. My implant erection is the same size as my pre-surgery natural (with vigorough stimulation and assistance from pills) erection.
Good luck.

Thanks guys I appreciate your feedback. I should be thankful for whatever length I have after the implant and be focused on finally having a hard dick.

my size with a vacuum after it's stretched out is always exactly the same as a good flaccid stretch. a goodfgoodflaccid stretch is the same as a good erection. The key is to measure your flaccid stretch Properly. tight to the pubic bone. but I'm pretty sure that most surgeons well give you the same length as your flaccid stretch. so you're probably right. You'll be closer to a trimix erection. however as I understand it dr. Eid matches your flaccida stretch anyway a hard anyting is better than a soft nothing. Good luck

This may be long. I had an 700 LGX installed 4-18-18 at USC Keck. The doctor has since retired. Dr Boyd. His second was DR La Doyle. He assured me I would not loose length and I did not. My VED length was 6 1/4 and my implant size is 6. He installed a 15 cm with 5.5cm RTE. Trimix made me ache terrible, so I could feel where the entire member was, from the base of the cruses down by my anus to the glans. I was 9 inch and now am 9 inch with 6 inch in front of my pubic bone. That is all the good news. NOW, Dr Boyd was the master for 30 years at USC Keck. His healing procedure was to keep me pumped up about 80% for 4 weeks. Terrible pain. He wouldn't give me extra pain meds. I had left over opioids left over from my RP that saved my ass. His only answer was that is how I do it. He also said, don't touch the pump. On here you will find most docs say to pull it down and keep it moving around. I specifically asked him about that 1 day after OP. He said don't touch it. WELL> My left testical became attached to the pump with scar tissue at the end of the 4 week healing process.. Took 4 fucking weeks in the hot tube (106 degrees) pulling them apart twice a day to get them separated.. He was the professor and if I were you, I would discuss this with your doc to see if this is also his healing method. You do know they use the infra pubic entry at USC. USC Keck is a great hospital. I have had several major surgeries there. If you want to talk, Private message me for my phone #. John

Richard... good luck to you as well. Stay in touch with us, our members have all kind of suggestions to make pre and post operative surgeries bearable. If you have a VED, I would
suggest you start immediately, 3 to 5 times a day right up to the surgery.

So yesterday was d-day I am officially bionic. Surgery went well. After the surgery I was in a lot of pain but by today not as much. They kept me overnight to give me antibiotics and monitor me me. This morning they deflated me and pulled the catheter and am currently waiting to be discharged.
