A few question regarding surgery (Dr. Kramer)

Implant surgery scheduled with Dr. Kramer 4/17/19 at 5.30 am.
Does he use stitches? If so, do they de-solve or require removal. Generally how long before removal if any?
Hopefully he puts catheter in while your knocked out.
Don't trust the wife removing catheter. Afraid she'll pull that sucker like a lawn mower cord. Will Dr. Kramer's office offer this service following day after surgery?
Does Dr. Kramer use a drain tube?
I need to change my name to Nervous Nelly. However I'm hell bent on having this procedure. It's been 8 long years.

Dr. Kramer does use stitches. I think he typically does the incision in the scrotum so it won't be visible once it all heals. The stitches will dissolve over time, something like 6 weeks. No drainage tubes on me. And yep, a catheter is inserted while you're out. He usually has you remove it the morning following surgery. Honestly, that was probably the worst part of the whole thing as it was a bit uncomfortable removing it. He will come visit wherever you are staying (if you are traveling) a few days after to see how you are doing. He gives out his cell number so I texted and talked to him a few times over the weeks following surgery. You'll be in good hands!

deflate the catheter tie into a brick and drop it on the floor. That will do it.

Good news, I dreaded removing the catheter as well. I went to YouTube for a tutorial and did it myself with zero issues or pain. THe stitches Dr. Kramer uses dessolves so no need to return to get them taken out.
Dr. Kramer will visit you at your hotel and discuss any questions you have when there to exam you. He is very accessible to any questions you may have even after surgery. He is very personable and will give you his cell number for any questions or concerns you may have even weeks later.
Good luck, you've put yourself if good hands with Dr. Kramer.

Oh God, if I had a doctor who went thru my sack, I think I would just die. My cut was made just above my dick and my nice bush covers everything. In realizing how he would have to stretch all your shit to work and run the risk of not getting the cylinders in nice and straight and then to insert your reservoir especially if he had one as big as mine which had to be tucked under part of my rectum and lower colon. I just shudder at the though.
The stitches do dissolve in about 5 to 6 weeks. When my cath was removed about an hour beforehand I was given 2 little reddish pills that turned my water a reddish/orange color. I felt nothing when it was taken out. I had very carrying doctors. I am going to look this Karmer up. I guess he must be famous. I just had country docs. Much cheaper and they both did excellent jobs one was Bi and the other gay. Sorry guys I had to have a little funny here. I see everyone trying to find the best, when the best may be just down the street.
Please don't hate me guys, I'm a lover not a fighter except for certain causes.

Thanks for the data. Kramer was my choice could not afford the travel or hotel did not want to wait. Now I may be headed to him anyway to finish fixing the disaster caused by my local yokels. Still not ready to chance it.
Just got Dr Carrion's notes from my last visit. He practically begged me not to chance a wait to be fixed. Said right now I have a high risk of infection. I have to assume that the longer I wait the more scarring occurs the more difficult the fix the longer the healing. I was referred to him when 3 others had no clue. But no guarantee that he would do the actual fix me surgery.
Now I am a fence sitter. Again

Dr. Kramer uses dissolving stitches so no removal necessary.

I've heard that in certain cases Dr. Kramer will visit you the day after surgery and remove the catheter. In my case it wasn't necessary...the nurse in the recovery room gave me complete & thorough instructions as to the removal procedure. They give you a syringe & a spare which screws onto the side of the bag...you drain the fluid from the bottom of the Foley catheter, then pull the catheter out...came right out easily as the catheter is well-lubricated. To me, the whole catheter bag routine/having to sleep with it for one night hanging next to the bed was the worst part of the procedure...everything else was surprisingly easy & painless...only used two pain pills (didn't really need those either), then switched to ibuprofen for maybe 3-4 days along with intermittent icing...didn't need ibuprofen or ice after 5-6 days.

No...not needed w/ the scrotal approach. Btw: within a few months after the procedure, you'll never know that you had an incision down there...totally invisible at this point.

Here's the deal with sex: you can get behind but catch up real quick when you're able to outrock any porn star within a few weeks...Kramer is one of the best on the planet...has a great team with him as well...excellent anesthesiologist who's been with Kramer for over ten years...you'll be in good hands. My guess is that at some point, you'll be asking yourself "why didn't I do this years ago?"...

Kramer coming up on two years ago. Stitches dissolve and are no issue. The catheter is a non event if you do it yourself and understand what's going on and how it works. Essentially a foley (named after the doc who invented it) catheter uses a water balloon in your bladder to keep it from falling out. the key is to get all of the water out and leave the drain open for removal. Yes, go to youtube and follow directions and advice. I would choose the scrotal approach again and any time. No visible scars on my scrotum, and the placement of the pump is easier as is the routing of the tubes. If you watch any of Kramers procedures on youtube you will see that he has no problem placing the reservoir. I had an LRP plus two hernia repairs with mesh and he shoved the reservoir in without major issues.
