How low should third "testicle" hang?

Postby ccm123 » Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:09 pm

Hi,
Will be going tomorrow for first activation. Had an AMS 700 Ultrex implanted on 12/7/11. The only question I have is how low should the implant pump hang in the scrotum? Mine hangs a good bit lower than the testicles and really looks out of place. Is this normal and will it get better?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Ultrex?? I was under the impression that the Ultrex is obsolete and was replaced several years ago by the LGX, which is very similar but an updated model?

I have the AMS700LGX. As I have written before, every time I feel the pump in my scrotum, I am happy for this device and its other parts have restored sexual life between me and my wife and improved my self esteem. The pump hangs lower than the testicals and is quite comfortable there. You will see the pump contours along with the testicals. Be happy. Regards.

rim1818,
I believe you are correct. When the Dr. said he would be using the AMS700 I assumed it would be the GLX but he chose to use the Ultrex. I met with him yesterday and I asked why he did not use the GLX and he said he liked the pump on the Ultrex better. I really dislike the pump because it has sharp corners and hurts every time I sit down or change positions. From the illustrations I see of the GLX pump they seem to be a much better shape than the Ultrex.
