Today I had my Pre-Op appointment. Unlike the previous two times, I left feeling apprehensive about things. I spoke with a urologist I hadn't ever met before and his job was to go over the risks and get me to sign the release form. He really drove home the fact that this being a complete replacement carried higher risks than my original implant. He really emphasized that things could go so far left that I may end up with no implant, and in a situation where any type of future implant may be impossible.
I wish he would have given me a xanax before and after our consult. Now I won't rest until after the procedure is over and I'm told it went well.
Surgery Pre-OP was today - Kind of scared me a bit...
