Getting an implant

So, went to see dr. Perito in MIAMI, thinking it all was in my head. Turns out that after running the tests (my God the shot on my dick!), I had a double Veanous leakage. To tell you the truth I was relieved, because this was consuming me big time, depression, anxiety etc... (thinking it was in my head). Cialis kept working but was at the point of being too afraid for sex, because I felt it wasn’t working as much and was taking more of it. By the way, the Trimix shot did not work for me.
So after dr. Perito told me that, all I could say was, when can we do it!? So scheduled for the 15th at 12 and becoming bionic. I had no other options, but by reading the experiences here I’m really looking forward to regaining my confidence and myself again.

I’m 42 years old with double VL and will become bionic.

Glad you found out what was going on!

Lots of great info on the board about how to prepare for the implant and how to recover. Search the forum for "baby sock", for example.

Best wishes!

Quincy.

Thank you so much. I guess from my experience, what we all should do is go to the doctor and don’t asume anything, if you are experiencing any kind of ED, go ask the doctor to perform some tests., I thought, and many people told me, including urologists (2) that did not perform any tests, that it was all due to my “anticipatory anxiety”, and of course I developed it big time, to the point of just being afraid of sex. I used to have sex every day, some times more than once with cialis, untill I didn’t. Those doctors prescribed even more cialis, since I am in a very good shape. Well, I kept asking and asking until I found out. So don’t give up, there’s always an answer. And I’ll be glad to post my experience.

I think you will do really well with Dr Perito in Miami.

A friend friends was referred to me to talk about an implant since he had VL.. Soon after he sought dr. Perito , and had it done. Amazing that he decided as fast as he did. He is very happy with his implant and with Dr. Perito. He wanted me to see it and i did. It changed his whole attitude and he is a very happy man. Thanks to Perito.

Best to you.

Mike

You will be amazed .... ...be patient though, many guys expect too much too soon.
I always say it’s an 18 month journey with unique processes and protocols.
My only advice is: listen closely to what Dr Perito tells you, he is the one who knows......and that opinions are like arseholes......everybody has one

You can go to the gym a few days after the procedure. .... And watch other people do their stuff.

Your doctor should advise you on when you can start stretching .. begin working out ... etc. Weightlifting will wait longer than swimming longer than walking on the treadmill. It may take as little as a couple weeks for the lighter exercises and couple of months for the more intense stuff.

To ask for our experiences to help get an estimate is good, but your experience WILL vary. But ONLY your surgeon should be the only one you pay attention to.

I was walking a couple miles - walking slowly! - On about day 5. Shorter walks before then. I started using the elliptical at about week 2 and my first racquetball game was on day 22. About that same time I started lifting again, though I was careful and kept the weights light.

Ask your doc as you recover. Mine said essentially I could do anything I felt like doing but to take it really easy at first.

Good luck. I had the same issue with urologists. Told me I was just getting old here is some viagra. This is after telling them the ed started pretty much overnite. Hurt myself trying to have sex with a semi erect penis. Then peyronies, plaque, loss of length, soft tissue.

Then found a good doc, tests showed I had a bad venous leak. Scheduled it as soon as I could work it out after that. 4 months with the titan. Was my only option.

Now it works, straighter than my natural curve, and got a little length back.

Do I wish I had my natural erection back. Yep, but that was not happening so this was the best option.
