Hi guys.....I was implanted with a Titan OTR on 11/8/11. Had a lot more pain in the weeks following the surgery than Ive read about here. Had to refill the Oxy script 3 times!!! But it finally went away after about 3 weeks. Everything is going well, no problem pumping up or deflating, but I seem to still have some pain during intercourse with my girl. It sort of takes away the pleasure for me. Just wondering if anyone here has experinced that. I think it will all go way one of these days. Im 67 and back with my high school sweetheart after not seeing her for 40+ years. She loves it, gets off big time. Me...not so much so far. Thanks for this site, I really enjoy all you guys.

Not everyone has the same experience pain wise and I guess everything wise. It took me about that long before I was pain free. I think what helped me was followong my doctors, or at least his PA's, advice to pump up at least once daily and try to work up to leaving it fully inflated for one hour. This seemed to strech thing out and break up some scar tissue here and there. I am 13 months out now with my lgx and I didn't really feel normal till around 6 months. After the implant there is still work most people must do to "break it in". If you were like me, being fully erect was and experince that I was'nt able to do probably almost two years before the implant. Great news that your wife likes it, so things are already working in the right direction.

Beny,
I would not be concerned, being tender during intercourse at 3 months isn't bad. Pump several times a week, it will toughen up the area in the glans where you are probably experiencing the tenderness. I still do, almost a year out, but i usually pump rock hard. Also, try taking ibuprofen before sex, it makes quite a difference in the inflammation.

Dave's recommendation for ibuprofen before penetration is RIGHT ON.
Some guys are tougher than others, but the same can also be said for our doctors. I DO BELIEVE that some doctors can be tougher than others as well. If you've watched the videos of the implant surgery, you can see that not every doctor is a tender caring being. Hope for the best, then grin and bear it until any residual pain subsides. You have done your research, you have picked the surgeon, you have had the operation...now forge on!
Truth be told, I had pain right up until about 6 months after my implant surgery. Then all of a sudden one day it just "poof" disappeared, my penis dropped some and was no longer standing at attention, and things just fell into place. That day, I started feeling a bit more normal again. It took me until nearly a YEAR before the skin of my penis was tough enough to penetrate and really go to town without residual suffering of some sort...(ibuprofen please). Oh also, those extenders that I had installed really REALLY smarted whenever I tried banging real hard. Treat yourself kindly sirs (heh heh, yeah right)
Now at nearly 14 months, Me Tarzan!!!!

I had similar pain myself that lasted to the 3rd or 4th week and I am still having pain during intercourse. I had my operation about 2 months before your implant surgery. The way my doctor explained it to me is that as long as you are still stretching and getting larger, you will continue to experience pain. Congratulations on your implant! Hope things get better and better as time goes on!
Sincerely,
Steve B

Like any muscle, the penile appendage needs to be stretched--well and often--to remain healthy.
