Hello !
While driving my car I suddenly felt a sharp pain on the left side of the implant. Just at the tip.
I stopped the car and checked what happens. It s like the tip is more on below the glans and I now can feel it more while I touch it.
Glans bloodflow is still ok, but at night since I had this new implant I had residual erection that I felt (like tension or stretching). Now I see engorgement but that is all.
I have to say I have been inflatted just after surgery and I have to wait. So maybe it s just that with deflation day after days cylinder had move a bit and bloodflow is not as good as inflated. Please help, i m worried, just had a revision to correct one side, and the same thing seems to happen on the other side.

I wish I could help, but I haven't experienced anything like what you describe. For sure, get an appointment to see your surgeon. If he's not available, or too far away, another urologist with experience doing implant surgery would be good.
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

I second Quincy's advice. Sudden changes deserve investigation by a practiced hand/mind. Sudden pain even more so.

Did yours come on suddenly or gradually? If gradually, what were the events' timeline (if you can recall), please?

Gentlemen thank you so much for having responding me so quickly and wisely.
Gautengrob : yes one surgeon told me that cylinder have to make their way. In fact I was driving, and felt something. Stopped the car and checked.
I had to deflate a bit, I m not allowed to inflate.
Good news is that when I move the glans the tip on it follow the move. When I had clear erosion the tip dont follow.
I may be anxious, but in 6 years, it s my third implant.
It went suddenly. Just 21 days post op. Did nothing like try to inflate.
Pain is now gone.
Was ready to mail m'y surgeon but the true test will be on 2 weeks and half, I will be able to inflate and see if it is or no. Seems like I can feel a bit of spongy tissue around the tip, when eroded nothing spongy : just skin over the tip.
The best for you, that was kind to answer me

With that new information, it seems you have the experience to properly make your own clinical exam and it appears you are making the right choice - not being alarmed.
Since you have seen erosion before, you know that what you are experiencing now is not erosion. As long as it is not a tear in the tunica, it seems you are well advised to simply follow your surgeon's schedule for followup appointments.

3 implants in 6 years? Which model is the latest implant and which were the previous 2 models?

That is something you should put in your signature block. Type, size, etc. Along with doc if you want to.

2012 : cx 18+2
2017 erosion distal right
2018 : lgx 18+3
2019 (Jan): erosion distal right
2019 (jun) : cx 21 + distal graft to repair erosion.
I prefer Cx implant. For me Lgx just give shorter lenght while flaccid.
