Since I now have a date for implant how much time should I take off work. My job requires I spend a lot of time on my feet either walking or standing I’m a Pharmacy Technician at a hospital so not really physical as I said above. But neither is it a desk job The doctor said they recommend a week for a desk job and if I do heavy labor 2 weeks I have plenty of leave time so that isn’t an issue just asking for some advice

Thanks in advance

Although your doc said one and weeks weeks i still think that is pushing it. I recon take at least three weeks if you can.
Your body could do with as much rest as possible.

For me the most uncomfortable time wont be at work itself but the getting changed in the mornings, the in and out of cars, buses and trying to ' tame/tuck/hide ' your swollen stiff member in your pants ect - at home you dont have those issues.( There will be a fair amount of swelling )

Doctor knows best.
You will be very uncomfortable for at least a week.
I’m a teacher so similar in that we are both on our feet a lot.
I was done on a Tuesday and returned to work the following Wednesday.
I hope that helps.
Everyone’s experience is different.
Good luck

Take at least two weeks. I think I took two weeks and really wished I had taken a third.

I'm 9 days in and I can be up 30-60 minutes max. Then it starts to hurt a bit more and I have to lay down.
If I stay up too long I will be in more pain for almost 12 hours after.

I am a chocolatier and i am standing up all day.
I´m planning to be back at work after 3 weeks and that seems to be pretty reasonable in the phase I recover right now.

I had a basically desk job and thus took off only a week. But men in your life style definitely need more than one week. (And I am glad that you have plenty of leave time available.)
