Dialators to expand extremely tight vagina?

Having had ED for so long & couldn’t get erection my wife’s gotten extremely tight over the last several years. Any of you guys had a similar experience? Tried various lubricants, but they don’t help expand the vagina. She talked to her doctor and they said they might help with a procedure that isn’t covered by insurance. Have thought about trying the silicone dialators I saw on Amazon prior to the procedure the doctor suggested. Any ideas would be appreciated.
77 yo with ED for over 20 years.Tried everything, & found injections were the only thing that worked.I am so grateful for FT. Was implanted 6/18/19 with a 18cm AMS LGX w 3.0cm RTE,100ml reservoir, infrapubic procedure by Dr. Richard Roach, “Bailey”

Inject testosterone weekly.
Implant on 1/22/19 by Dr Avila.
Scrotal, hor. incision just over 1"
18cm AMS 700 CX, 3.5cm RTE 100cc res
Gleason 6 prostate cancer. Monitoring it for now.
Update: On my last biopsies the cancer wasn't found.

Just a thought. It would seem to me that you are packing a variable dialator in your pants. Could you just inflate enough to allow penetration? Have sex a few weeks with a soft semi. As her comfort level improves, add a few pumps. Playing doctor using this method might be fun & accomplish her expansion. Almost like being teenagers again.
