Implanted on 2/17 with Dr. Eid

Surgery completed! I had a 22 cm Titan OTR installed in NYC by Dr. Eid on Friday morning. All in all, the whole experience wasn't that bad. Since Dr. Eid uses a spinal to numb your lower half you get extended pain relief. I did however, definitely experience moderated pain on Friday night into Saturday morning and utilized the pain pills. By Saturday night, I was just taking advil and as of today, just a little discomfort and have that strange feeling of having a heavy groin due having a semi erection all the time, the dressing and jock strap. Girth seems greater and I can't really tell if my length is the same since the implant is only partial inflated. If anyone has a questions, please ask. Thanks to NE Bob who spoke with me before this decision. Dr. Eid and his staff are truly professional.

Jerry --

Thanks for much for the update. Great news so far! Out of curiosity, did you go home with a catheter, and if so, did you remove it yourself and was that any problem?

I did go home with a catheter, its no big deal to get it out. The staff gives you a syringe (without a needle) to drain the out of a balloon thats in your bladder. Once about 10 ml of water fills the syringe the catheter will be easy to take out..just pull very gently and slides out. No pain

Jerry,
I just had my implant done on Monday the 13th by Dr. Garber in Philadelphia. I am to go back to see him in two weeks, the 28th, and then again in six weeks. Since you just had your done as well I have a few questions. You said you are half inflated, I am as well. Dr. Garber wants me to keep my dick against my belly pointing towards my belly button, are you to do the same? That tends to cause me more pain at times then does anything else in all of this. Do you experience any of this?

Dennis

Dennis, yes..my dick is pushed up against my stomach as well and Im wearing a jock strap. It is uncomfortable for me too. Im also constipated and havent had a bowel movement since Thursday the day before my surgery. I guess the pain pills caused this so I stopped and I really dont need them since Advil does the job and Im taking OTC laxative now. Anyone else experience this?

Great news Jerry!

To me though, the cath was extremely painful when they removed it. The removed it at the hospital

Jerry,

Best of luck with your new Titan OTR Implant. Congratulations!!
I developed ED Post-Prostatectomy in February 2004 and underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure in
December 2007. This completely corrected my ED and gave me my sex life back.
I hope that you and your wife will have as much pleasure from your Implant as my wife and I have experienced from
my Titan over the past 4+ years.
Welcome to the "Bionic Brotherhood".

Bob

P.S.: I found that taking Colace (a stool softener) very helpful after my Procedure.

Glad to hear that your surgery was a success and that you are doing well. I am certain that Dr. Eid gave you the biggest sausage possible. I think finally I will have the opportunity to be "activated" Thursday. I have been walking around, dancing and swimming with a partial hardon. I had difficulty with the big balls, but eventually all the swelling went down. I had my dick up toward the belly button until I saw him to take out the stitches. The jock is great and the larger the strap the more comfortable going to bathroom. I took the colace with metamusil and I had no trouble going.

I am anxious about the activation because I have sported this erection for a long time because of the trouble with the coumadin. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Just wanted to give you newly implanted guys some encouragement. I am a yr. and a half since implanted and I am very pleased with the results. No more pills pumps or needles. You guys are going to be very happy to be ready whenever and enjoy pleasing yourself and your mate. Patience as you recover -it takes time till you don't have any pain. I have a Titan and I represent no one in this business. I am very pleased with my surgeon Dr. Garber in Phil. He is a really nice mild mannered guy who is a true artist. I have most of my length and even more girth. But that's not the important thing. These skilled surgeons Garber, Eid, Milan et al are all artists and will give you 99% of what you had. They all do the best they can with what you present. What they can all give you is a very rock hard penis whenever you want for as long as you want. Good luck to you guys!

Mike, Victor, thanks for the encouragement. Almost a week since surgery and doing ok. Still sore and swollen in the ballsack but no real pain. A question regarding the shaft. Mine is bends slightly toward to the right so Ive been wearing the jock strap and trying keep the implant up toward my bellybutton to straighten it out. This is a pain in ass and uncomfortable having a hard on all the time. Does your dick straighten out eventually or stay bended if your anatomy is built that way? When you get the stiches out, is it deflated or do you continue to be 50% inflated and wear the jock? Thanks, any info appreciated.
