After implant surgery does your gland get engorged like before your had the implant and if so that means that you still have blood flow going to your penis. Sorry for asking questions I just preparing my notes before consultation. This is kind of WTF moment for me. I've always been a health freak great shape low blood pressure never go to the doctor so yes it's an eye opener. I'm 56 my insurance has denied my claim so I have to pay 27k and with travel it will be 30k. I cannot live my life this way. Last weekend I had a date and we were having a great time until it was my turn to bat. I did penetrate for maybe 30 seconds then he fell down I played it off and told her that I had to much to drink but I was prepared for that outcome. Very embarrassing

Not to be pedantic, but the part of the penis you refer to is not "the gland." The anatomical name is "glans penis,"or "glans."

Question not answered yet.
No.
The glans, if it is like mine, will not engorge as it used to. I can't say that it loses sensitivity, but it IS different. I have considered my implant to be 90% successful. The 10% has to do with the glans not getting swelled up. Orgasms are a little more difficult to achieve and I estimate it takes twice to three times longer than before due to this issue. These are my experiences and would like to see more feedback from others.

Don't get me wrong, 90% success is FANTASTIC, and I'm not complaining. My sex life is SOOO much better than it would have been without the RP and implant. The natural aging of the erectile function is totally eliminated with my little pump. She's ready? Bingo, I'm ready. And then there's the staying power...almost infinite. Had one nympho girl friend who spent half her time trying to get me hard again. She would have loved this. Now you can quit when she says "uncle."

Read these boards and try not to make (or allow your doctor to make) the mistakes showing up here. For example, discuss the outcome length. With RP and implant I am 2 1/4 inches shorter than before when erect. My implant works but this is a little disappointing. My doctor refused to use the LGX; I think it would have prevented some of my length loss. I should have changed doctors. My penis has shrunk down to a stable size because my regular inflations can't bring it up to where it was and it just shrinks naturally. Choose a doctor that is a little more aggressive (experienced?) to commit to preserving your length. Most often it's reported that length is lost.

My glans engorges (swells up) with arousal like it used to. A doctor told a group of us a few years ago that after a prostatectomy some men have glans engorgement return and some men do not. (This relates to a prostatectomy rather than to putting in an implant.)

the implant does not affect the head or tip of the penis. the two implanted cylinders extend in the head about a quarter inch give or take from the tip. generally the ability of being able to get the whole shaft hard is lost when the implant is installed and it cannot be reversed. implants are the last resort. hope this helps

My glands will grow some when excited, but they do better when I take a generic viagra. The real thing, not the asian shit.
