When did cycling start for you?

According to Dr Kramers post op information, he keeps you somewhat inflated after surgery until his next appt 4-6 weeks out and no cycling - he states 'no manipulation" of the device - is indicate until then. How does that square with others experiences?

When Dr Kramer placed my Titan in 2008 he made no mention of "cycling" at all. I don't recall any instructions regarding manipulation, either, but I do recall that I didn't feel any urge to mess with it for at least 3 months - my incision was slow to heal and I was not anxious to be squeezing it. I never did what is now referred to as cycling, but when I finally was healed my length and girth were the same as before the surgery.

Very interesting. The 2 top surgeons in the US with totally different outlooks. One say no cycling and the other says cycle day 3. Both are getting same results no lost length are girth. I'm not a surgeon but it would seem to me that scar tissue would set in before 6 weeks

My surgeon left me 50% inflated after my surgery, then had me come to the office to deflate, and look at incision after 1 week.I ask if I could start activating my pump & he said not until after he sees me at the end of my 4th week following my surgery. He said it was too soon prior to that because of the swelling & I wasn’t healed enough yet. So far I have to agree that his instructions were right on.

Interesting indeed. I was implanted by Dr. Eid almost 2 weeks ago, and he instructs hot baths (for pain mitigation and to promote tissue healing) and cycling as soon as you are able, ideally between days 3 and 14. The hot baths were indeed wonderful for eliminating pain, and loosened everything up down there, making it easy to manipulate the pump and figure things out.
I found the deflate button confidently on day 3, and started cycling on day 4.

I tried to cycle at 3 weeks, but gave myself a hematoma from squeezing the not fully healed scrotum. Dr. Kramer responded to my call immediately as he usually does and told me not to worry leave it alone for 5 more weeks or until fully healed. I flew back to Baltimore 8 weeks in and let him pump it up the first time. It took me about 3 months of daily cycling to get back to where I was before surgery. Totally satisfied. I believe that we all heal differently and that each case should be handled on its own merritt.

I just checked and cycled at around 18 days. Didn't use it for another week though.

I was left pumped to what I think was 80-90 % for 4 weeks. Dick was at 3 o'clock and lots of pain. After deflation at 4 weeks I was almost at pre surgery length.

I believe Kampan starts cycling his patients at one week. 2-x a day.
