Not sure if those mentioned are the best, but they sure get a lot of advertisement in this forum.
Last revision I got I wanted somebody close to where I live. I did not want to be driving on big city streets, so I looked up good urologists within 40 miles, and I got one that was very good on my implant. So what I am trying to say is that there are other doctors who are very good surgeons but do not get the publicity.

I live in central Florida and had Dr. Richard Roach @ Advanced Urology. My surgery was 6/18/19, and everything when well. I highly recommend him. Good luck, Bailey

Does anyone have any top surgeon names for East Tennessee? Maybe for the University of Tennessee Knoxville area?

It might have been last fall. But I remember someone mentioned having doc in Knoxville who did their surgery. I looked into Knoxville as it is about same difference travel for me to cincy.
I did not get a good feeling with the ones I talked with in central ky. 1 even from uk who was supposed to be great but seemed more full of himself than in answering my questions.
Dean knoll in nashville was recommended to me but I chose another doc.
You might search knoxville and see what pops up.

Certainly Eid and Kramer get most of the praise as being the best, and rightfully so based on number of implants performed and results, (Eid invented some of the procedures), but there are plenty of other good Docs out there. There are also some not-so-good.
I read a research paper from 2017 that stated there were some 25,000 new implants every year in the U.S. That means there's a whole lotta other Docs doing it besides the ones commonly mentioned here. And this forum only has dozens of posters, not thousands...

The big names have been mentioned, but there are a lot of good docs out there. Best advice is to treat it like a job interview. Be sure to ask about experience (100 a year or so), and personal infection rates. There's lots of other questions to ask too. If you don't get answers you like, move on.
