Using a VED with your penile prosthesis?

I was just looking on the internet to if there were any studies on this and I could a video from
Dr. Perdito in Miami stating that using a VED in addition to your inflatable penile prosthesis was safe. He stated he and some others had did a study on the topic and found it was safe with a VED device with a release valve from a medical company. Just wanted to know if anyone had tried this and what were the results. What’s the technique?

My surgeons recommended using a ved after the implant to increase size, I'm an inch short in length and circumference, but it didn't work, I stopped having sex with my wife, until I started using a ved for sex again, now I'm back to my size and it works much better than preimplant, I used to lose the cockring erection using two rings one of them being the extra tight pink ring now I can use or two rings and it stays hard the whole time. Now e have a fairly active sex life again.

I tried using it over the implant once a week for about six weeks then stopped due to too much pressure on the base of my shaft/ balls from the pump rim and the pump seemed to get pulled up - was very worried about causing damage to pump and tubes.
I guess i didn't do it long enough to notice any size change.
