Let's assume that an implant lasts ten years, so in
ten years = 200,000 functioning implants in the world

half of population is male, so number of global males= 500 million

likely, 75 percent of implants are planted in north america = 150,000 working implants in north america
There are 280 million males in north america.

150,000 implants /280,000,000 males =.00054 or 1 out of every 1866 males have an implant

so, we are not one in a million, but we are one in 2,000

That is pretty rare, and in my opinion, such a male is a true gem of a find for a woman

The big worry about hiding it is because some people will find it unattractive. I am gay and know what its like to deal with a penis as my object of desire. Straight guys won't be able to fully get this. A throbbing blood filled erection in my mouth will not be the same as a plastic filled one. If I met someone with an implant I have to say that I wouldn't find it very exciting!

I am straight, but I agree with jump.ship. I think I had said something along these lines another time, but why would a healthy female be with me when there are 90% of men out there who can give her a natural blood filled erection instead of an artificial one? And I know I might not be giving enough credit to women here, but in my experience it's just the way it is, human nature. It would be foolish to believe it won't be an issue when dating. And it scares me that I might find someone truly special out there who I would like to be in a relationship with to be rejected because of it. Many interesting comments out here. I do notice a trend:

Those who do not yet have an implant are super worried they will be view as sub-standard by their partners. MY RESPONSE: I totally understand the concerns that you're erection is fake.
