"If someone encounters a random male, what is the chance that they have an implant ?"

population of north america = 579 million

Global population for first world medicine= ? 1 billion people

price for implant=10,000 USD



Number of implants installed globally = 200 million USD/8000 USD = 20,000 implants per year globally

Let's assume that an implant lasts ten years, so in
ten years = 200,000 functioning implants in the world

half of population is male, so number of global males= 500 million

likely, 75 percent of implants are planted in north america = 150,000 working implants in north america
There are 280 million males in north america.

150,000 implants /280,000,000 males =.00054 or 1 out of every 1866 males have an implant

so, we are not one in a million, but we are one in 2,000

That is pretty rare, and in my opinion, such a male is a true gem of a find for a woman

By the way, this thread was inspired by the question "If you are at a football stadium, how many men will have an implant ?"

I suppose if there are 50,000 in the stadium, and 30,000 are males, then maybe there are 15 of us gems in that entire stadium.

Makes one want to have a t shirt or special ear ring or something so we can be identified ?????

I do feel sorry for the women, since it will be hard to find those super able 15 amongst the masses

$10,000 USD? Where can I find a surgeon that Cheap? Not in US i doubt.

So... I guess you are luckier than some.

The odds are therefore overwhelmingly in favor of a woman finding a naturally functioning man who is typical in bed. Like we used to be. A guy who cums too fast, doesn’t last very long otherwise and who goes limp right away after he cums. In other words, a guy who struggles to completely satisfy her. The big worry about hiding it is because some people will find it unattractive. I am gay and know what its like to deal with a penis as my object of desire. Straight guys won't be able to fully get this. A throbbing blood filled erection in my mouth will not be the same as a plastic filled one. If I met someone with an implant I have to say that I wouldn't find it very exciting!

I am still getting it done though because (a) I don't have a choice and (b) most people, I suspect, won't be put off by it. But if I don't accept that at least some will find it weird or off putting, then I am deluding myself.

I am straight, but I agree with jump.ship. I think I had said something along these lines another time, but why would a healthy female be with me when there are 90% of men out there who can give her a natural blood filled erection instead of an artificial one? And I know I might not be giving enough credit to women here, but in my experience it's just the way it is, human nature. It would be foolish to believe it won't be an issue when dating. Those who do not yet have an implant are super worried they will be view as sub-standard by their partners. MY RESPONSE: I totally understand the concerns that you're erection is fake. In fact, to this day, my wife is still bummed that she cannot "validate her sex appeal" by creating a throbbing rock hard erection in her man. So, for me, to get through this, I sleep better having accepted two things: (1) you get the implant for you. You do NOT get it to save a relationship or to please the sex partner exclusively (2) ED is a terrible disease, and all the "issues" of having a fake erection , in my mind are really trivial compared to the horrors of having no erection. In other words, it is 100 times more upsetting for a woman to deal with an impotent man, or a premature ejaculator man, than it is for her to manage her feelings regarding the artificial nature of a bionic penis with which she can have awesome sex.

We seasoned bionic males walk with a 'stride of pride' and it is true that many of us who have been implanted for a couple years seem to be an extremely sexually confident group. MY RESPONSE: Just look at some of the posts in the past from SMETRO or MAXXXX and Lcatman and Shooter1000 and some others.
