Discomfort after Implantation

Hi All!

Just a quick thanks to this forum and it’s participants for frankly discussing sensitive subjects like ED, implants, etc.

I am newly implanted with an AUS and IPP 8 days out. Pain has been manageable and I am no longer on the hydrocodone. However, I get the urge to pee quite often whether my bladder is full or not. When I was in the hospital after the surgery, they gave me normal pain meds, but also something to help with the urge to urinate. It was a small pill that I stuck under my tongue. I couldn’t reach my urologist to find out what that was but will try again tomorrow.

Anyone remember feeling that after their implant surgery? Is there some over the counter that might help?

Thanks!

-David

I have a little problem with that also, I think it comes from some pressure on the blatter.

Welcome to the bionic club, i am glad the surgery went well and wish you a speedy recovery.

Sometime I have experienced the same problem, in my case is due to my bladder getting irritated which makes me feel the urgency to pee but only very little comes out, before i was treated from prostate cancer it was caused by prostatitis which caused urinary track infections (very painful)

My advise, drinks lots of water, water will help in keeping your bladder clean and free of bacteria as much possible.
