Is stretch test a good predictor of post implant erection side?

Stretch test for me is 6 inches. Can I expect 6 inches post op? I’d like to hear from guys who have the implant and what their stretch length was pre op compared to their implant boner length.

so, I was measured at my initial consultation at 6.75, my girlfriend and I both measured the same thing two hours before surgery… I woke up from surgery with a length that will never amount to that if my math is correct… however, searching through all kinds of posts and reading people signatures, I realize that a lot of men with similar size implants are ending up with similar size penises… it’s probably the closest estimate the doctor can give you until you’re actually under the knife… it rarely seems ridiculously off but definitely can go in either direction… Best of luck, my friend!

It left some of that statement out! Sorry! I was only implanted two weeks ago so I can’t say for sure that I will end up shorter LOL I apologize for that… It was definitely on a very negative cycle compared to things I usually say…

It didn't do well in my case. Firstly, my RP surgery snatched away over an inch by drawing my penis back in to attach to the bladder. I guess the prostate removed about 3 cm from the urethral length and there is nothing I could do about that. When I could, I used a vacuum device to not lose length and to pump me up twice a day for about 30 minutes each. I have marks on the penile vacuum tube to indicate my length. You can read my other posts concerning my dis-satisfaction with my surgeon, but the implant took away another inch or more. My surgeon says "Oh, you've still got enough." I guess that was an admission that he undersized my implant.
I predict that you will lose something from the length. Go to the best doctor who does the most implants and always discuss size. Let him try the stretch test way ahead of time and ask him to maintain it. Another thread here discusses the head not engorging following implant. You should read. Sex will be different, but not bad. It is a luxury to be able to get an extremely hard penis on command. And it doesn't go down until you say so. She will love that. If you give it a minute or two following the most sensitive time, you may be able to have another orgasm. Nice.
If the lack of an erection is your problem, do not hesitate to get an implant.

The stretch test is just an estimate. Men often lose length due to atrophy, scarring, Peyronies, and prostatectomy, but loss of length due solely to the placement of an implant is not likely. You should wind up with at least the length you started with, but there are no guarantees. The only measurement that counts is the internal measurement made at the time of surgery.

Luckily there is room for different opinions in this world
Seems I have a different one than most of the guys who above have answered your question.
Sure, the stretch test is "just an estimation". But If we talk about what your length of your inflated dick will be after surgery (and after healing and cycling) then I think it is the best estimate you can get. There are studies showing that even for healthy men with healthy natural erections, the stretched length is very, very similar (on average of course) as the erect length.
What would be a better estimation then? The length you had when you were 25, which was 40 years ago, before prostate cancer or before 30 kg of overweight, or before peyronies? Or before years of ED shrinkage? if you hven't had a proper erection for years, then what is going to be a better estimation of your erect length after implant surgery? Nothing.
The stretched length of your flaccid dick is as long as it can get. It is unlikely that an implant could stretch it longer than you can when you pull with high force.
However, it is not an accurate method to determine which implant size you will get. This is different, and this depends on how deep your crus is and how deep in the glans the doc can (due to scar tissue or lack of skill) position the cylinder tips. A (good) doctor will not use the stretch test to determine the cylinder size. He will use it as a handshake between him and you on what size your dick will be after surgery. In terms of cylinder size, it is just a ball park for him, but most likely, he will not be too far off with his cylinder size estimation based on the stretch test.
Because even though the stretch test is not accurate in deciding implant size, it is still the best estimation possible before surgery. During surgery he/she will measure you on the inside and hopefully use as big size as your dick can accomodate.
Just go with the rule of thumb that 2/3 of the implant will be in your dick and 1/3 in your crus. If you have a deeper than normal crus, then you will need a longer implant than the stretch test indicated and you will have more than 1/3 in your crus (and hence less than 2/3 in your dick).
So if your stretch test says 12 cm, you will have roughly 11 cm in your dick (reaching till 1 cm from your glans tip), and hence around 5.5 cm in your crus. Should be a 16.5 cm implant including any RTEs your doc uses.
My case as an example: Stretch test 16 cm. Should mean I should get a 22.5 cm implant. My Doc though he would use 22 cm or maybe 22+1 cm.
That's what he installed, till he realized there was room for more. So he pulled it out and installed a 24 cm implant. But he told me afterwards that it was because my crus was a bit deeper than normal. Which apparently (according to him) is a good thing. Gives better rigidity (from a deeper, stronger base) and better angle. Unless your doc just stacks up on RTEs of course, then it doesn't help.
My 2 cents.
Good luck.

In my case I am longer. Stretch test was at 6 inches. About 9 months out with titan, I am at 6.5.
Still .5 shorter than my pre ed size but hoping with more time I get closer.
My issue was several years of peyronies and pretty much no erections for about 3 years.
I also have great glans engorgement back. Happy as a tick on a hound dog.

Pre surgery my stretch was 5.5 to 6, post surgery I have a whopping 4". Doc said it would be a little smaller and that which implant he uses is determined by a gauge the insert in your flaccid penis during surgery. Is a smaller errection better than no errection? Simple answer is yes. Complicated answer is getting an implant also has to to with improving the way we see ourselves and unfortunately the disappointment I feel now that it's done didn't do much for my head, the one on my shoulders.

My pre-op stretch test was 4.5”. It was strange because I could massage my dick to 5” while still soft and it got shorter when erect. During surgery my doc removed some plaque caused by Peyronies and apparently that relaxes the shaft. He was able to use a larger cylinder size than he thought he would use. Now, after cycling I am back at my lifelong length of 6.5” that I had until Prostatectomy surgery robbed me of some length.

Wornoutdon and all I read a few previous posts and your really early on determining any type of length yet..in my opinion .. takes months of cycling and patients to recover and stretch implant to its full size...I had severe scare tissue the first time the doc pumped me up to be honest wanted to punch him in the face It might have been 4incs but I doubt it he said atleast it works couldn't believe what was going on but a lot of FT guys said the same your not close to knowing yet so with patients I keep aggressive cycling and back to what my older length was... not when I was 16 lol hopefully you will see later down the road some gains
