Getting implanted w Dr. Kramer Dec 17th

Postby krh9999 » Fri Nov 15, 2019 2:30 am

So I finally decided to go ahead with the implant. I've been pushing this off for years.

Flying out from Los Angeles to Baltimore and staying for at least a week.

Wish me luck!
52 yo Gay Male. LA/Palm Springs CA. Had Dr. Elist penile/ball implants in 2009. Had it all removed about a year later (don't do it!!!). Silicone injected into scrotum. ED for about 15 years. Was about 8", now 6.5-7" due to venous leak.

I would say that, being Dr Kramer who is going to make the implant, you don't need luck, just patiente.

Anyway, I wish you the best!!
Implanted September 12nd 2019. Coloplast Titan OTR 20 cm + 1 cm RTE. Dr Cruz (Spain). Liver transplanted. Born in 1967. ED since 24 in different degrees. Pills stopped working in March 2019. Injections caused much pain.

I wish you the best as you get this done. I will be getting mine replaced in February by Dr. Kramer. My first implant was done in February of 2012 by Dr. Barber but he no longer does these. Mine developed a leak and now needs replaced.

The thing that I remember the most about getting my first implant was after it was in and I had healed some was the amazing feeling of having an erection once again. For years prior to the implant I remember getting a partial erection, if I was lucky, and then the fight I would put my body into in an attempt to hold on to that partial erection long enough to satisfy my sexual desires. It was a feeling I will never forget. But after getting the implant I would catch myself feeling that erection once again and automatically my mind would think I needed to put up that fight once again to hold onto my erection. But then the reality of the fact that I no longer had to fight to hold on to my erection, it was there for me to use anytime, anywhere for as long as I wanted to use it, WELL that reality was one of the best feelings I had ever experienced in my life.

That my friend is what is waiting for you as well.

Good luck and best wishes.
First implant Feb. 2012, Dr. Garber but developed a leak. Second to be done by Dr. Kramer Feb. 2020. Will be 65 then and using Medicare for the costs.

My surgery by Kramer is on the 10th, and he gave me a choice of what to put in...huh?
I chose AMS, since it is the middle of the road deal, and I already have one in that previous Dr. messed up.
Just hope that I can keep my length/girth afterwards. Since I could not pump it, I hope atrophy has not set in to the point of being losing said length/girth.

Dr. Kramer placed my implant on Oct. 22. I'm almost at 4 weeks and doing great. No real pain since 1 week and my swelling and bruising are gone now. I have my post-op appt with him on Tuesday (11-19-19) as I am a local. You will see him sooner since you are from out of town. Honestly, ice was my best friend for the first 3 days. Stay in the bed or lying down on the couch for the first 3 days...kept my swelling to a minimum. I didn't need any pain meds after 24 hours (for me the catheter was the worst part of the whole process). I used a jock to keep my penis pointing up at my navel when I returned to work on day 6 (Monday). My regular boxer briefs didn't provide enough support and I tended to tent my dress pants. When my penis leans over to the side, a wrinkle tends to form in the cylinder which puts pressure on the tissue inside which gets to be uncomfortable, so keeping it pushed straight up helped. You're in good hands. I've known him for years as we both were at UMMC, so when it was time for my implant, I knew where to go. Make sure you get his contact info. He is very responsive to direct email and texts. Good luck!

Did Dr. Kramer give anyone on here a choice of which model from AMS or Titan?
I told Dr. Kramer that I wanted the AMS, but neither of the models they have; LGX, CX, or CXR.
I am *assuming* he will put in the appropriate one at surgery.
