Titan cylinders

Postby jerryc129 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 1:49 pm

Im 5 weeks in from Titan OTR surgery. All is going great. No pain or major discomfort. I was wondering how long it takes for the cylinders to soften up. Ive been inflating every other day..giving it days rest to get the soreness out of the glans. Its only a little over a month but was wondering when the cylinders start to get softer and more comfortable. Even deflated, the implant is still pretty hard, like a semi erection..I also get slight re-fill from the resevoir throughout the day.. Any comments are appreciated.

Make sure you are squeezing the penis as you deflate. Also try delfating a second time 5-10 minutes after the first deflate. This will help get all the remaining fluid out. I am not sure if this is caused by the "one touch release" versus having a normal hold and release valve like on the original Titan. My titan (non OTR) actually becomes really flat at fully delfated.

Hi Jerry,
The tubes of the Titan do not get soft. The bioflex material is thick but extremely durable so you will feel the cylinders probably as long as you have this version which hopefully a long time for you and me. This is why I went with the Titan. When you pump up it feels completely natural and thats the good thing. I don't have the one touch either but I still get some fluid in the chambers. For me this makes the penis feel more natural albeit slightly erect. It also exposes the glans so there is more chafing against my underwear. So I purchased a product called manhood - google it- and I use it and some aloe and A&D type ointment during the day and it has helped my glans become more moist, soft, and here's the most important part - more sensitive. Hope your healing goes ahead of schedule!

Hi Jerry,

I have had the non-OTR Titan for 4+ years now and it feels perfectly natural.
Eventually your body tissue grows around the device and it just becomes part of you.
I chose the Titan because of the sturdiness of the Bioflex material.
Just give your body more time to adapt.
Wishing you years of enjoyment with your new Titan Implant.
Also, welcome to Dave's "Brotherhood of Bionic Boners".

Jerry --

FWIW, I don't really ever feel like I have a semi-erection when its deflated (or when I think its fully deflated... I have talked with Silvia and while I think I'm fully deflated, some of her comments suggest I might not be... I'll know for sure April 5). When standing, it hangs down nicely, maybe 5:30 or so. When lying on my back, it lays flat along my scrotum, and conforming to the minimal contours of it. However, there is no question that the cylinders are harder and more noticeable than the way things felt before surgery. Also, I'm much bigger flaccid than before. The few times a woman has hugged me and pressed pelvis to pelvis, I'd be pretty sure she can feel me and feel the hardness, though I haven't gotten a comment and nor have I asked about it. I do sometimes feel that a tiny bit of fluid creeps back into the cylinders, but if it does, its very small and I'm never positive that it has.

I'd say everything is getting much more comfortable. I now go quite long stretches (hours) without any conscious awareness of the implant, and many times even when I think about it, I don't really have any specific feelings. Other times though, I am still conscious of it, and once in a while, there is still a bit of soreness in the shaft or around the pump. However, I've given up Advil, except for rare occasions, and stopped the warm baths (which were better than Advil for me), since I just don't need them. Silvia has hold me not to play with it until April 5, though I have tried it out to a limited extent (not maxed out) a couple of times and get a very satisfactory erection (horizontal when standing, vertical lying on my back).

Not sure if this helps. I'm 5 days after you in this process, and so far I'm just very very pleased about everything.

Thanks for the comments. I guess I shouldnt have used the word semi erect. The implant does point down like yours about 530. Im just trying to get used to the hardness, fullness, larger penis when flaccid, which should be a good thing, its just different for me now. I definitely think the cylinders have some fluid in them even after I fully deflate. Hey there could be worse problems lol...

It took a long time and lots of pumping (several times a day), but MINE did soften up to a near natural state. To say they don't EVER soften up would not be correct for everyone. It did for me...
