Most guys here talk about pumping up until there is pain. I pump and pump and surely my dick is way hard enough to have intercourse but I never feel like it is too hard. And the pump does not become too hard to pump anymore.I have gained 1/2 in. since my implant on Aug 27th - not much girth though... maybe almost a 1/4 in. so thank god for that but am wondering is anyone else has had this experience.

My reaction was discomfort rather than pain, and I think that was caused by the length being stretched a little at first. No longer any discomfort Just fun!

Just bumping this up as only 1 posted a response. Does that mean no one else can pump 4 ever and still get no pain? everyone can pump until it hurts?

I pump up until I can't pump anymore (like with an old-fashioned bicycle air pump), and then I stop. No pain, no discomfort.

I have never had pain pumping up. I am convinced I have been undersized, so it does not stretch the tissues to cause pain.

DITTO - I've also wondered why I can pump until "firm" and until the pump bulb has little or no give and yet I feel that I have not yet achieved a great erection. Enough for penetration but not enough to feel real hard?

I am undersized as well and my penis has shrunk down to the size of the implant. It is a CX and therefore doesn't lengthen, just expands. The implant is so small, I am fully inflated with 6-7 pumps. At 6 pumps there is no pain. At 7 I can endure it about an hour. It is difficult to do more than 7, but I have tried to go to 10 and can only endure the stretching about 20 to 30 minutes.
As a result, I try to deflate by just pushing the button and not forcing the saline out. Sometimes I go around with 2-3 pumps just to keep it expanded and avoid contractions, but still flexible. Since the pain starts above 8 or so pumps, I must be reaching the internal limits of my penis. So I try not to let it contract too much when (semi) deflated.
Very happy with my implant, even though the doctor got several things wrong. It still works when I want it. She likes it too.
