Inflated on one side and I haven’t been able to penetrate my partner for the last 3 times I have tried. We had sex like 3.5 weeks ago and then boom just stopped being able to have sex.
Could be a kinked tube to one cylinder. Does the other side inflate and deflate properly? Is there any pain while inflated or deflated?
Where is the pump riding? If it's riding too high, try to pull it down into the scrotum where it belongs and see if that frees up the kinked tube.
I've read somewhere (I believe it was on the AMS site) about a procedure to try to salvage a tubing kink malfunction such as this is to try to unkink the tubing by doing the following:
- Pump up a little, then pull the penis OUT, UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT.
- Try to pump a little more and repeat the pulling procedure, flexing OUT/UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT again.
- Repeat the above at 10-20% intervals to try to unkink the tubing that's not working.
If all else fails, consult your surgeon asap. One member of FT had an issue one time where after bike riding or similar activity that his pump totally malfunctioned. It turned out that his pump had done some acrobatic maneuvers and the tubing was twisted, kinked and tied in a knot. That member had to undergo revision surgery to replace the pump.
