I have the Coloplast implant but not the OTR. My uro had installed a few of the latest OTRs but lost confidence in them after problems from more than one patient (mostly failure to inflate), so last year (2011) I got the not OTR version. Due to some other health issues I've yet to really take it out on the road. I anticipate about another month or so...
I'll say this: the darn thing isn't the easiest to deflate.
I know a few of our brothers here have had the Coloplast OTR implanted. Have you had any complaints? Have any of you had both--first one, then the other? If so, would you please share the difference? Thanks.

Coloplast vs. Coloplast OTR
Re: Coloplast vs. Coloplast OTR
Hello KM,
First, best of luck with your new Coloplast (non-OTR) Titan Implant.
I was implanted with the Coloplast (non-OTR) Titan in December 2007 and, after the first few months, have never had a problem inflating or deflating it. When deflating, squeeze the 2 bars above the pump in the Scrotum between the thumb and forefinger while squeezing the penis with the other hand.
My wife and I have enjoyed my Titan Implant the past 4+ years and counting.
Please feel free to contact me at any time.
Bob
