What a Night!

Greetings from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I had my prostate removed 2 years ago -psa of 28; Gleason score of 7. I had ED for a couple of years before my prostate was removed. 5 weeks ago I had the AMS 700 LXG implant. Got the go ahead from the doctor to "engage the pump" yesterday. FANTASTIC!!!!!

For the first time in 4 years I was firm enough to have good sex with my wife. What a great feeling! No more trying to time the pill right; stopping to use the pump with so-so results; or just foregoing sex totally.

Yes, I lost length and girth but being able to have sex for as long as we wanted and to enjoy several positions was well worth the loss of length. It is still long enough to provide satisfaction to my wife.

As I say over and over to enforce the thought ... keep WORKING IT as often as you can. Pump it to the max as SOON as you can start. It may burn, it may even hurt a bit, but that scar tissue is working overtime, at this point, to cement everything in place forever. So keep working on the implant and get it to grow, despite the scar tissue. Get those new chambers securely into the GLANS by pulling up and down on your penis when it's inflated. MAKE those chambers stay loose and moving, and not getting encased with scar tissue. Also, stop every now and then and give it 5 more pumps, 10 if you can take it. Then awhile later, 5 more (or 10), keep repeating this process. This is also when you need to start pulling on your pump to keep it where it should be in your scrotal sac. Your doctor has probably explained this to you but keep in mind that scar tissue will eventually KEEP that pump exactly where it is, so it's up to YOU to get it into the correct position.

At 5 weeks I was approximately 4 inches in length. At 15 months I'm at 7 inches with incredible girth. Keep the faith (and WORK IT). Also... sex at 5 weeks? Please be kind to yourself. Rome was not built in a day as it has been said. Ibuprofen, taken beforehand, may help quite a bit to ease the pain afterwards.

Just a question: Did your doctor happen to tell you the length of your LGX and whether or not there were also extenders added? If you can tell us your LGX size in cm's, then we can pretty much figure out the length that you should be able to get out of it in the long-run.

May you have very HARD, and very GOOD times to cum

Hi Richard,
First, welcome to Dave's "Bortherhood of Bionic Boners".
I underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure in December 2007 and, after the first few months, it just became
a part of my body. Also, I have more sensitivity in my penis now than before the Implant.
I wish you and your wife the same pleasure my wife and I have experienced with my Implant for the past 4+ years and counting. Best of luck.

Bob

LGX_Man, the doctor did not put extenders in, the the LGX was 22 cm. I did take ibuprofen before. The pain was not too bad as the doctor said only to pump 3 or 4 times for the first time. Going back to see him in a couple of weeks for a followup to get clearance for unrestricted usage. He did say pump every day and bear the pain for at least 30 minutes. Also allowed hot soaks while pumped.
