Coloplast Titan original pump to new pump back to old pump!

I had surgery in April 2019 and received the coloplast titan with the original pump they have been using for like 20+ years. It broke. A seam in the pump burst and all of the fluid leaked and of course I couldn’t inflate it.

I was encouraged to get the new coloplast pump by my surgeon because the newer pump is supposedly more durable. And even though it didn’t seem larger in the office it feels 2-3x large in my scrotum.

I’m very sexually active with random partners. I was able to disguise the first pump somewhat
The new pump is so large that the tubing, the valve, and the pump are all visible through my skin on my scrotum. And it’s the new quick release and the release isn’t sticking. And when it does stick or open like it’s supposed to sometimes i have to squeeze it with all of my strength (and I’m strong) to get it to release. Sometimes it’s almost impossible. I think the valve could be bad.

I’m going back to my surgeon on January 7 to have the pump examined and likely switched out again for the original pump.

Has anyone else had an experience with both pumps? Has anyone had a pump fail? I hate this new pump.

I am getting Titan, on 1/2 and surgeon will only use the genesis version because of 1 touch issues.

Research on the WAY you pump it. You should not be squeezing it with a 'C' clamp, like on the sides, you should have thumb on top of pump ledge, and index finger on bottom (cocked in so you are using the 2nd knuckle). I am just repeating what I saw on the videos. I have a malleable, so don't even have a pump, but come March, want is switched out:).

Can't seem to find vid, so disregard instruction...sorry for this mention.
