Implant Surgery My Journey

Hey Guys!

Had my implant surgery on January 9, 2020 at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The surgeon implanted an AMS 700 LGX 18cm. Surgeon was Dr. John Lacy. I am at home doing great on Day 6. Very minimal bruising and a little swelling . Very happy with things at this point. Almost no pain which is difficult to understand. I spent the night at UT after my surgery on Thursday had a catheter and a drain. Came home with drain on Friday afternoon which is understandable. Had stopped my blood thinner several days prior to surgery but continued to have oozing. Went back and saw my surgeon on Monday and the drain was removed. I go back in six weeks to begin cycling. My thanks to all you guys who supported me and helped me. My desire is to help those guys who are needing an implant and give back to them like you guys gave to me. Thanks again!

This is day 7 of my implant journey. Doing very well just have bruising and slight swelling in penis and scrotum and around area. Icing almost constantly. I can't believe how they can do this type surgery and i have no pain. all i am taking is some Tylenol. I notice more overall body weakness more than anything. Cant wait to use this thing. I go back and see my surgeon in six weeks to begin cycling. Doing everything my doctor is telling me to do. More later!

Glad to hear your doing so well! I hope when it's my turn, I can do this & get on with my life.

My RALP has put a damper on things & I want to proceed.

Good luck
