pump location

Hi, all
Just had implant surgery last Tuesday (nearly 1 week ago). Pain past the first 24 hours has been minimal, but I have been reclining the whole time. Now, whenever I get up and around, gravity produces significant pain in the left testicle area, which is where I believe the pump is situated. It seems that the pump is located exactly where my left testicle used to be, and the testicle has been displaced backwards and is directly adjacent to it. The whole region is too painful right now to spend much time probing around there. My question for those of you that have had this procedure: is this a typical location for the pump? Does it seem to you that it is too close to the testicle?
Thanks in advance.

Had mine last Wed. Pretty much the same story regarding gravity and pain. My pump is on the left side but hangs towards the middle and lower than my left testicle. Kind of looks like I've got three nuts. I had a Titan implanted.

From what I've read in FT seems more pain in testicles around pump is common during the healing process. I'm concerned about what its going to feel like when I go back for my first post op visit. I was informed I would need to take pain medicine prior to the appointment. That doesn't sound good.

Well congradulations on your implant and hope everything goes well for you.

This sounds very typical. You may want to pick up a different kind of underwear to help support. I used a Jock during my recovery. I know some guys have used briefs or many different kinds. Experiment and see what works best for you.

It really helped me. I could really feel the lack of support when I was not wearing the jock.

I pulled my pump away from my testicle to ease the pressure. Regarding the jock, I could not stand anything tight around my glans after surgery. I wore compression briefs for 3 weeks to keep him pointed up, but had to put rolls of paper towel in the pocket made for the cup to keep the pressure off the glans, which were trying to get under my belt. OUCH! Once I could let him hang normal, that was a big relief for the glans, but not for the nuts! I used a suspensory, which cradles the scrotum and the testicles and lets the penis hang through. It was wonderful.
