Has anyone explored going abroad for implant surgery?
A few quotes are below. Note the mexico price is only $5,000 less than what I believe is Dr Karpman’s (Mountain View, ca) private pay rate (last I heard).
However the Russia, Poland and Thailand costs are substantially less expensive.
Of course, one would need to research the doc and hospital thoroughly.

Good to see the comparisons, but who wants to take a chance/gamble on one's "prized possession?"

Too many peeps have bad results when traveling to Mexico for medical. Friends sister went to Mexico for breast implants. Developed sepsis on day 4 and died on day 5. She was 36. The surgeon was not even a surgeon. He was a podiatrists. No regulation or recourse. Russia is not known for state of the art medical care. If you are doing Europe, stay in the Eu that have standards. Do your research first.

You can buy parachutes in El Salvador for $5.00, and it’s the last one you’ll ever need!

Are you crazy?! You will mess yourself up. I am from Pakistan, a developing country and I sold my most loved plot of land to afford to get surgery with Dr Kramer. Dude listen to me. Your dick is what makes you a man. Don’t get this thing ruined. No amount of money, not even becoming a billionaire afterwards will fix you up. You will be messed up for life and will regret making this choice. Don’t take shortcuts when planning this important surgery. Go to the best doctor. Period!

Im not recommending it, but if someone could not afford an implant otherwise AND did their due diligence in research it might be an acceptable (not great) option. FYI, 15 years ago I went to Mexico for gastric surgery...I researched the hospital and doc for months and it was excellent care at 25% of the US cost...
