Angle???

Postby exr001 » Mon Mar 09, 2020 9:43 am

This might be a stupid question or one answered many times over, but I can't find anything.

Can someone explain how you measure your angle for flaccid and erect? I have no clue.

Thanks

It's best done with a photo of your profile view. Overlay a clock face (mentally or really) and determine where on the clock your penis points if the center of the clock is at the base of the penis. Always measure with the image pointing right (1-6 o'clock).

And 12 o'clock would have your penis laying against your belly, pointing up towards your chin. 3 o'clock perpendicular to your spine (pointing at the sky if you were lying on your back) and 6 o'clock pointing at your feet.

Of course. 12 o'clock is virtually impossible if you have any size of belly.

Gravity would have an effect on any flaccid penis, so whether you are standing or laying down would make a difference (and hanging from your feet even more so  ). Gravity has less of an effect on a fully inflated implanted penis.

Why does it matter? Mine is 5 o'clock when flaccid. It is laying on my balls. Hard it is at 3 o'clock. But it moves to 12 or 1 when doing missionary or laying on my belly.

Stand naked sideways next to a full length mirror and if your inflated penis points straight out and horizontal with the ground then it is at 3pm ( Most inflated implants are that way ). There are some that do hang a bit lower like 4pm or 5pm and some that are higher like 2pm or 1pm ( Very rare ).
The ones that hang lower than 3pm sometimes need assistance by the hand for entry.

I started cycling about 3 days ago. My penis stops at angle 4pm, even when I pump about 80 times. Would it stay at 4pm forever, or the pump is gonna soften and can get to 3pm? I really don't like to hang lower than 3pm. It is not even attractive for my partner.

Mine hangs at 4 also.Remember you have two implant cylinders filled with fluid, add gravity and it’s probably not going to hang too high.I could care less and all my wife cares about is a dick that stays hard and gets the job done! And it does!Having a dick that stays hard is all I need!Go have fun!

You are right. What matters the most is having a working dick :). But I would like to know what makes the difference in angle after the surgery, if many patients used to stay at 3pm prior to it. Is it the surgeon skill? How deep the pump is? Or cylinder length?
Going through such a very invasive procedure, makes everyone hoping for the best result (Possible). I accept living with a shorter and smaller girth toy, because I know this is a consequence of RP and 3 years of ED after that, but will try to get a justification for anything else.

3PM - 4PM seems to be the typical outcome. Mine has gone a lot softer when deflated but still rock hard when pumped up and the angle hasnt changed after 18 months.
