Shape of penis

I was implanted 6 1/2 weeks ago. Things are going quite well so far - not a lot of pain, and I lost hardly any length or girth. I mean, when I look down at my penis, it appears wider than it used to be; however, from a side angle, it is flatter than before. Prior to surgery, my penis was more or less cylindrical in shape. Now it's more of an ovoid, if that's the right term.

Since one week after the surgery, I have been cycling regularly, twice daily for 30 minutes each time, pumping it up to what I guess is about 90% most times. I haven't noticed much difference thus far, but I know it's early on in the process. Can I expect at some point for my member to become more of a cylinder again, or will it just remain an ovoid? And, as I haven't really lost much if any length, so will continued cycling result in any additional length, or girth for that matter? Just wondering how long to continue twice daily cycling. I know my doctor is the one to ask, but he's had to cancel two post-op appointments and to close his office down, all because of the COVID-19 crisis. I'm hoping to see him in person in May sometime, but who knows if this will happen?

The wider rather than rounder is going to be your new normal because of the fact that the cylinders are round and two round cylinders side-by-side are going to be wider than they are tall (by two times). This is not taking into account the tissues of the penis, either. I threw together a simplified illustration comparison of a natural penis cross-section and one with an inflatable implant but in no way is it to scale or necessarily anatomically accurate. It's only to show the difference between the natural corpora without the cylinders and the stretched out corpora with the cylinders inflated.

In a flaccid state I do not really notice the oval shape, but I see it and feel it when pumped up. what works for m is to stimulate my shaft first, give it a couple pumps, stimulate more, pump, stimulate, etc. Doing this gives it a fuller appearance and feel.

As for cycling, it took me over a year of twice daily cycling to get back 2.5" I had lost from long term ED, Prostatectomy, and Peyronies. I kept at it after that and gained 1/4".

Below is an article written by Dr Eid (probably one of the top 3 implant surgeons worldwide) about the coloplast titan implant, and how that implant in particular gives a rounder shape rather than the flat look.

"Now, in addition to that, the Coloplast cylinders give the penis a nicer, rounder appearance. And the reason for that is that when the device is inflated, the cylinders will touch each other on the midline. As this occurs, the urethra, which is below the cylinders, is pushed down, and it gives the shaft of the penis a rounder circumference and more natural look.”

Well I have the Coloplast and I'm oval with a girth of 5.5". After using Trimix for 12 yrs., my girth was 6.5+" and very round. I'm not complaining understand, I love my hard dick now, just saying. Flaccid I'm 4" all the time from 1" before my implant, really love that! I chose the Coloplast over the AMS because understood that it would be more likely to maintain my girth but it didn't turn out that way which as I said is OK.

I bave Titan and my penis is always oval when deflated and inflated.
When deflated, looks flat Like run over by bus tire. But, IT works as advertized.

Too Funny, I literally just asked my wife this morning if she could tell the difference in the shape of my shaft. For I to have noticed the change into an oval shape. I'm not complaining nor unhappy with the change. I will officially be 6 weeks Post Op this Thursday and everything is getting better by the week. Back to my question to my wife. Some of you guys now my wife RENEE:) She said she loved the change in my shaft shape. She said yes it's more oval but she would NOT change it for the world. She expressed the much appreciated change in girth and hardness. That was straight from a woman's mouth. No pun intended. LOL

When i pump up at first it is oval shape but when i get aroused it starts to take the round shape. Meaning that there is more blood engorging the head. At the same time the vein under the shaft is rounding out the penis! Love that look and dick is ready!
