Questions to ask immediately before surgery

Hey everybody I am having surgery on May 12th and I was curious what questions or comments you all had with your surgeon right before you went under the knife. Did you reiterate maintaining length and girth with them? I believe the good surgeons already know that question is on our mind anyway? Should I waste my breath talking about it? Also, what other questions did you ask right before the surgery? Did you give the surgeon like a pep talk or anything to make sure his head was in the game? Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated and hearing your stories on here has been inspirational.

I did tell mu surgeon that I wanted him to be able to say mine was the best result he'd ever had.
I did also request the scrotal incision and I was glad he did that.
I would also request the implant you prefer.
Usually, the surgeon will do what he thinks best.

I ended up with only a little swelling where the fat pad is and hardly any bruising.

My doc only popped in for a quick second before surgery, to ask if I was still ready to go ahead. Since there was a nurse and my wife in the room I asked no questions.
You probably don't want to know what I did want to ask him :D

You know what - I did give them a pep talk.

I started with the fellow who came in first:

"Good pump placement - right? No loss of length - right? No infection - right?" I waited until he said yes to each question before asking the next one. I wanted to keep the most important things at the top of his mind.

Then when Dr. Levine came in I asked him if he was on his game today - because I couldn't afford any mistakes. He confidently told me yes, he'd had plenty of sleep and he "knows exactly how to do this."

Everything turned out excellent.

Hey Guy,

I too was nervous with the unknown. Almost 11 weeks now, best think I ever did/ My dick was useless, soft, bent & I was not able to make love to my wife. Each day after the operation gets better & better. We have been able to make love more times since 3 weeks after the operation, than all of the last 2 years.

Look forward to your reward!

Good Luck Junior

If he's any good at all he knows EXACTLY what you're thinking/feeling. Just be sure you understand what his post surgery plan is = when to cycle, etc., as that widely varies. Good luck. The next couple weeks are gonna suck, but few ever regret the decision.

Thanks again everyone for all the feedback guys. I have my surgery at 7:30 am tomorrow then I will bionic. Kinda surreal! I'm cautiously optimistic what the future has to offer after this, even though I am nervous as hell right now. I will definitely keep you all posted on my progress/setbacks etc. as I know many of you have gone through this and will be of great insight. Can't express how awesome FrankTalk is and all the members on here. Appreciate all of you!
