Titan LGCX
-Titan name and Rigidity
-Small Legacy Genesis Pump (no-quack version)
-LGX potential length ability
-LGX natural flaccid
-CX Durability and Track record
-CX Antibiotic coating
-Sprinkle of Magic Unicorn Dust

If that’s too much to ask, I will just go to Dr. Kramer and tell him to size me and make the call and let me know.

Hahaha! Man you have no idea how much these different models have pros and cons and can cause frustration. I wish such a model that you posted existed and I would have gotten it in a heartbeat.

LGX Pros:
- Expands in length
- Natural deflate state

LGX Con:
- High failure rate based on this forum and what some docs are saying (as per users here)

CX Pros:
- Rigid
- Reliable

CX Cons:
- Does not expand
- Not natural deflate state

This brings me to a question I’ve never asked before, is there anyone here who has LGX for 5+ years? Maybe data is skewed and there are some good success examples too?

Now you've got me worried too. Do these LGX's really only last a few years? This is not a surgery I want to keep doing more than I'd have to. I mentioned in another thread that Kramer recommended the CX right off the bat in my email to him. So maybe he's really pushing this more than the LGX for the durability reasons, but can't come right out and say not to get the LGX. I've seen some of his videos where he's replacing them and the whole tubing is shredded.

So maybe he's really pushing this more than the LGX for the durability reasons, but can't come right out and say not to get the LGX. It's weird how many recent posts have been alleging or complaining about LGX models only lasting a few years. It's kind of freaking me out sometimes given that I'm only 20 years old and have already had an LGX installed for 7 months. The last thing I want is for my LGX to break two years from now forcing me to get a replacement.

That said, when I take a step back and breathe and think critically, I don't think us LGX users have much more to be worried about. While LGX cylinders are less durable due to the material used, on average these devices still have fairly long lifespans. The lifespan between the Titan and the AMS CX and LGX is said to be very comparable. If you do a lot of looking thru old posts as I did prior to my surgery, you'll see people with all models of implants complaining about early failures. Similarly, you'll see users who have had their LGX models for over a decade and are still using it regularly.

As Dr. Eid says on his website, "There is no appreciable difference between the life expectancies of the different manufacturers. The AMS silicone cylinders are more fragile than the Bioflex Coloplast cylinders and are the most likely cause of failure of this brand of implant. Failure occurs because of repeated bending of the deflated cylinders at the location of folds and not at the point where the cylinders are connected to the non-inflatable proximal portion. The Coloplast tubing that connects the cylinders to the pump is the Achilles heel of this penile device brand. The tubing is outsourced and not manufactured in-house, is not as good as the AMS tubing and is prone to fracture after 10 to 15 years of use".

WindWizard - I genuinely hope you're right. Just for fun, I searched this forum for the term "failed".

After 10 pages of looking, I found:
• Multiple Titan Pump Failures (Including Genesis which surprised me)
• Multiple AMS LGX Failures (Cylinders, Leaks, etc.)
• Not a Single CX failure

Interestingly enough, on page 13, I found two CX failures on the same thread:
Only CX failures I found
• Wolfsailor- 6 Years
• David_R - 10-12 years (wore it out)

I also found one user (RayChez) that had an implant that lasted 15 years. It was the older AMS Utrex model.

Dang it if you're not trying to sway my decision back to a CX. I just really want that even few cm of length stretch though with the LGX if I can get it. I'm not super active sexually, so maybe an LGX would last a long time with me. Decisions, decisions.

CX has a pretty good natural deflated state.
