Revision Tomorrow: Titan One Touch

I am having a revision tomorrow morning to replace my Coloplast Titan 22cm. I am converting from a Genesis pump to an One Touch pump. I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding the sticky deflate valve. Just wanted to get some feedback about some people’s experience with the One Touch pumps. Is it true that you have to mess with the deflate/inflate sometimes to initiate filling the cylinders? I just fear this possible hiccup would blow the cover on the anonymity of having an IPP. My previous 2 Genesis pumps failed while having sex. Thanks in advance for any feedback m.

Interesting that you decided to make the switch to a One Touch (but with two Genesis failures - who can blame you?) I went with the Genesis because of all the OT sticky-valve complaints I've read on this site, plus it's a little smaller. Hoping the one touch works better for you ...

When you say "One Touch" pump is that the OTR pump or the Touch pump? I don't see a One Touch pump in the Coloplast catalog.
I would go with the latest model, which is the Touch pump, and skip the OTR which is an older model (between Genesis and Touch).
I have the Touch, and it has been 100% problem free for me. The buttons work just the way they should, are easy to find, and I have not had to reset or mess with the pump, it just works. I do a couple of quick pumps after deflation to prevent auto-inflation, but that maybe just superstition.

That’s great news! How long have you had your rig & how often do you use it?

My surgery was December '17, see sig. Average usage is 2-3 times a week. After the first couple of months I never cycled, only pumped for sex, so that could have saved some wear and tear. Very happy with the Titan and would stay with it if a revision is necessary some day.
Good luck with your revision today.

I have the one touch. For the first few months it was a bit difficult to use now after 20 months its a breeze it works fine if your inclined to get all the fluid out I do when I ride my bike then just hold it a bit longer and squeeze the cyclinders.

Mine is the Coloplast Titan OTR. I did have problems finding the button at first, but between soreness and swelling it was tough to find with a numb index finger. Now at 7 months out I can inflate and deflate without problems.
I hold the pump between my left index and thumb now, use tip of my thumb to press button.
