VED erection after implant removal?

I don't believe I've seen this addressed before! Can you maintain a VED induced with a restriction ring erection if you had to remove an implant for any reason! Of course, natural erections rarely happen, but can the above mentioned occur??

I don't see why not. Although, I expect you might find it smaller than before the implant because you now have a void in your penis. Also, I would DEFINITELY check with my surgeon, you don't want the void left by the implant removal to fill with blood which may become an abscess.

Usually, after removal on an implant (for whatever reason), a "place holder" malleable implant is placed until traumatized/damaged tissues recover enough that a replacement inflatable implant can be implanted.

Why do you ask?

I would think the answer would be 100% contingent on whether the surgeon completely sealed up the corporotomies when removing the old implant. If there is anywhere for blood/fluids to leak out of the erectile bodies, it will drain immediately. Having a small hole (several "french" in size) would be enough to totally lose all benefits from the VED immediately after releasing the vacuum. ("French" is a gauge size for tubing, one "french" is a third of a millimeter so 3 french is 1 mm diameter.)

Assuming the entire corpus cavernosum is sealed off, other than blood vessels (arterial inlets and venous outlets), and there are no leaks due to previous unsealed tunica damages such as corporotomies, theoretically a VED should work after removal of the implant.

I'm skeptical any corpora would really work after an implant is removed. Not only is the spongy tissue obliterated, I suspect all the small veins and arterioles that fed into that spongy corpora tissue were probably scarred over by the presence of the implant placed, really you'd have mostly two long hollow tubes of scar/fibrotic tissue that would likely just turn into mostly one solid scar piece with no distinguishable center once the cylinders were removed and nothing to keep them open anymore. I've seen as much on several of Kramer's videos where he later tried to go in and establish any type of new space. In some guys there was just nothing left.

My surgeon had a patient come to him that had been "ENHANCED" with an implant some years earlier by another surgeon when he did not have any deficit that warranted the implant and apparently was implanted using a tissue sparing method. After a bad experience with his then partner, he decided to have it removed because the partner would have none of it. After explantation the patient had near normal erection and was able to have a normal sex life after cylinder removal (explantation).

This is not the norm but under very specific conditions it is possible.

LS... I'm just looking for options should I get implanted and things go south... not expecting a major problem because I'm going with Eid or Kramer sometime this Fall!

My understanding (which has been known to be wrong before) is that after removal, the walls of the corpra heal together. Rather like a balloon that had been filled with glue. After that, it will not inflate through any method.

See my yesterday's post regarding my surgeon's anecdote regarding a "TISSUE SPARED" implantee that he explanted back to near normal sexual function and erection.
