well my second implant has failed(titan). i think one of the lines came loose going to the pump. not sure whats next for me. it lasted roughly 2 years. im considering a malleable implant. i wonder if you could use a cock ring with those ? . i know if i do go to have something done i will not go back to dr. milam. i dont blame him but i would rather try some one else. closer to my home in georgia.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal bro. I underwent failure and I know it hurts especially if you had a willing partner with healthy sex appetite. My advice is to find a better doctor with high volume. You've Dr. Hakky in Atlanta and Dr. Christine in Alabama. Both are very reasonably priced. Good luck.

You may get lucky and not have to replace the inflatable tubes or reservoir and simply replace the failed connector and pump. If extremely lucky, only the failed connector. (And the lost fluid, of course).

The AMS products have a five year warranty is my understanding. What is it doing when you say it failed. Is the ball collapsed or is the pump just pumping away the fluid and not filling the cylinders.

Do you have the Titan Touch or the Genesis pump?
I’ve had surgeries with Hakky & he is very good

1Roofer,
Can you tell me the difference in Titan Touch or the Genesis pump. I just had my 4th failure. I've had two Coloplast Titan implants. The first pump was different from the current one but they both have failed. The current one failed once since impplanted but the Doctor only had to replace the pump and fix a tube connection which was the failure. Thanks!

The Genesis is the smaller bulb pump & is way more prone to fail. The touch is supposed to be engineered with more durable silicone & have better durability

my first was the ams. i dont recall the exact time it lasted it wasnt 5 years and when i went back to see the doc to talk about it there was no warranty left. the ams was much worse then the titan. i think it must have been a lemon.
