Hi,
I have a spermatocele (a bulge in my spermatic cord filled with sperm fluid from my testicle) in my left testicle. Had it since a teen, was like a pea then, but now is almost as big as my testicle. Like having 3 balls! I was thinking a surgeon wouldn't do an implant as there would be no room for the pump. Anyone had this or a hydrocele or varicocele and got a successful implant?
Thanks for your reply.
Spermatocele: Does this make implant impossible?
Re: Spermatocele: Does this make implant impossible?
I also have a spermatocele. Its about the size of a pea, always has been. My urologist said he could implant and its zero issue. I asked f he could just get rid of it during the implant and he said he would rather not because anything extra ups the infection chances. He said not to worry about it so I wont. Only concern is that a few times a year its get really tender like I was hit in the balls. Hoping the cords wont irritate it.

I have several of these in my left side, which my Primary Care doctor called epididmal cysts. They're each about the size of a large pea and quite tender if they get any attention. My testicle on that side is about twice or three times the size of the right one too. Ironically though, my doctor placed my pump on the left side rather that the right slimmer empty side. Go figure...
