Hi,
I read a lot of people mentioned before implants they tried injections for years and got implants later. Its also mentioned that injections cause scarring and thus makes implants difficult.
So, if someone young knows that eventually, he has to get an implant, should he not take injections first from risk of not getting scarring thus making the possibility of not even able to have implant also.
The people who tried both injections and implants, ho many years before you tried injections, did you get scarring, did it effect with your implant surgery.

It is true that SOME types of scarring can make implants difficult and it is also true that injections can cause some degree of scarring and bend. Typically however, as I understand it the scarring caused by injections usually causes a bend but not sufficient fibrosis to make implantation difficult.
I had a lot of fibrosis in my right corpus cavernosum (some in the left too) and I never used injections. The most of my scarring or plaque was in the right crus right where the rear tip was supposed to go. The doctor opened up my corporotomy to the most proximal length in the crus and cleaned out the fibrosis before seating the rear tip on that side. He also used the implant while pumped to near 100% to break the plaque in the distal right corpus cavernosum by bending my penis (modeling). That cracked the plaque free from the tunica albuginea and it now causes me no problem with bend or hour-glass effect, although the nickel sized (~0.8") plaque is still present. It's just detached from most of the tunica and floats there in one place.

I wish that I could tell you exactly when scarring occurs. But no two men are the same. Some do injections for many years with no problems. I'm pretty sure that I've read a members post that got a curved penis. Within a few months of starting injections. Search for peyonies. Having peyonies limits the styles of implants that can be used. Not all implants are very good at treating peyonies.
In my case, I have a very straight penis. In discussions with my urologist. He advise me to not try injections. I've made a decision to follow his advice.

I got fibroses and a 15 degree left bend at midship with less that 40 injections. IPP surgeon said stop injections till implant date, a month away.
