Prof. Eric Chung, Brisbane

Hi all,

I just wanted to create a post asking for experience with Prof. Chung in Brisbane. I have privately messaged half a dozen users for their experiences who said they were implanted by him. I am only 35 but have had ED for nearly 15 years since using propecia for hair loss many years ago. Pills have stopped working and I am considering an implant.

I went to an initial consultation the other day, I didn't ask about an implant yet, booked in for a Doppler ultrasound next month. Chung seemed to be keen on injections but I'm not really.

Personally I found him a bit hard to communicate wIth, like talking to a robot. I was thinking about contacting Dr Chris Love down in Melbourne but thought I'd ask around as there are obvious benefits to having it done locally.

Hi, May I suggest that you consult Dr Michael Gillman (Mens Health Doctor), and explain everything to him and he may be able to suggest another local implant surgeon, if required.

Is Dr Chris Love the highest volume surgeon in Australia? It's hard to know, except he's certainly advertises and has accessible information.

Thanks, at this stage I'm going to go to my ultrasound with Chung next month and take it from there. I can't go down to Melbourne at the moment anyway because of COVID.

I would be willing to wait and travel if it means getting a better surgeon. Getting a bit tired of paying to see "specialists" only to walk out with a referral and a script for viagra.

I think at the end of the day he appears to be a good surgeon, which should be our main concern. He does offer both brand's of implant which is good. Unfortunately in Australia we don't have surgeon that just do implants but urologist that also do implants.

Hi Mate,

Pro Chung is brilliant. He did mine in Brisbane and gave me great post op advice. Never had any issues at all - I would recommend him highly.
