Apparently radiation can cause damage and scaring to the lower penis. The doc tried to put in a standard titan with 22mm cylinders but had to go with the Titan Narrow base with 18mm cylinders. He had to get aggressive with the dilation of the lower penis. Said It would take longer than normal healing time. Also he put the reservoir under the stomach muscles, not in the abdominal cavity so I have a separate incision. Some of the usual swelling and bruising I've seen in pics here. The implant is at 50% so it's pointing out. Supposed to keep it pointed up with a jock strap. The pain is tolerable with occasional Tylenol. Retired so no work or lifting for 6 weeks is fine. The wife may have to mow the grass  I'm a little disappointed about getting a smaller implant than expected but by the looks of it, I'll have something better than I've had for the last 11 years.

Congratulations !! I read where they are changing the name from narrow to regular. There appears to be a lot of those used and the word narrow has a negative mind set with men....Hope you heal fast and can get started on that mowing..lol

Keep in mind also that your surgeon used the narrow Titan because the INSIDE PASSAGEWAY of your tunica cavernosum was crowded with scar tissue. That means nothing with regard to your exterior measurements, does it? Your girth can be filled out by a standard Titan and no scar tissue as it is with most men or your girth can be equally great filled out with a narrow Titan and plenty of excessive scar tissue.

I am no medical professional, but it seems to me that rigidity is rigidity and your girth would likely be the same in the end scar tissue and narrow Titan or no scar tissue and a regular Titan.

What is your girth, anyway? I have seen most often a range of around 5 inches and to my recollection, none greater than 7 inches.

In other words, don't let your "cowgirl" look your "gift horse" in the mouth. Just let her ride!

Thanks. Makes sense that they should call it something better than narrow. Grass already needs mowing.

Never really measured the girth before but even with a VED my girth was much less than before my RP. Still to much swelling to measure now but looks and feels like it will be close to my original normal.
My scaring was in the rear tip area so shouldn't affect the outside penis.
Can't wait until my cowgirl can ride it. I'm a quick healer so the doc and I might have to talk about this 12 week thing.

The most difficult part of my implant surgery was the no nothing for six weeks. Haven't gone that long without sex in my life. But I got through it just fine. All in my mind. Enjoying my new bionic toy!

I was prepared for the six weeks, but 12 weeks? Maybe at my three week check-up I'll get better news. :?:

Things are going very well. Bruising and swelling are gone. Things are itchy on the inside but very little pain. I go in Tuesday for my 3 week check-up. Will post updates after.

I'm just over a year and my corporotomies and the scrotal skin over them are still itching incessantly so get used to that. It might be a while before the itch totally goes away. Fortunately (or unfortunately maybe) for me, my corporotomies and cylinder tubes are right there on each side of my shaft, so I can rub or manipulate the area to alleviate some of the itching at times.
