Implanting while Peyronie still in active phase?

Hello brothers. As you know, i'm considering an implant.
The main issue is that my Peyronie's disease, which i have since like 6 years, is still progressing, and i still feel some numbness, pain, discomfort and see from time to time some worsening of lenght, girth, erectile function and so on.
My question is: did anyone here got implanted while his Peyronie's was still in active phase? if yes, which have been your results? Did you mantain or got back lenght and girth? Did the pain disappear? Did the disease stop?
Tell me something about it.. I'm scared that it can worsen the situation and, if the fibrosis progresses, it could attack the nerves..
Thank you really much for sharing

My surgeon did not even consider it. Made no difference. Once the titan goes in, peyronies is done. He said it made no difference at all.

Sorry. Hit the wrong button.
Once titan was in and cycling and using it. I had no more thought about peyronies. Gone like the wind. 2.5 years of hell, gone overnight.
No more bend, no hourglassing. Cannot find plaque anywhere. Penis is straight. At surgery it was about 35 degrees. Over time I am within quarter inch of pre ed length.

Thanks for the reply, both here and on peyroniesforum. I really appreciate that!
Anyone else also willing to share his experience?

Just like above!
My Dr used the AMS CX. After surgery and the initial pump by the surgical team I had about 30 degrees of curvature upward. That was immediate from about 90 degrees. As SW stated no more hourglass and the plaque seems non existent. As information; from my initial diagnosis to the surgery was about 6 months.
It has been over two years since my surgery and you can not find a hint of the Peyronies. I just had my annual visit to the Urologist and no issues with the implant.
Pick your surgeon and listen to him/her. Good luck!

Thank you really much Andy! Was your Peyronie's still in active phase? (So you were feeling pain, or discomfort, or you still were seeing worsening and so on)?

I did still have some of the pain but it was getting better. I did have the hourglass symptom and was loosing both length and girth. In my case I had three distinct plaques at or near the base of the penis and on top. So to answer your question directly; I would say yes, I was still in the active phase but nearing the end.
I have regained the majority of my former size. My Dr did indicate most patients that have Peyronies do not get all of there length back but do get close. In my case I would say I’m about 1/2” less than I was. On the positive side; I do not have to worry rather or not I can get an erection.

I was on pentoxifylline at the time of implant, that medication had shown some help. It may have helped me I’m not sure if I still in the active stage or not. In my case it was a mild curving and hour glassing.
I was under treatment for Peyronie’s for about a year using a VED and traction device. During that time I learned that a implant is the gold standard for treatment of Peyronie’s. Using this site and others I learned a lot about the disease and implants
After facing ED then Peyronie’s I was ready for a better sex life.
When I first started cycling I had some pain in the areas of scar tissue as the scar tissue stretched or at least that was my thought.
At where I am at on year post OP I’m at my previous ED size.
As my urologist said an implant will fix both my ED and Peyronie’s
Good luck
