Deflate button, How long is valve open?

I just finished my 8th week post op. I can feel the deflate button. I was left inflated and I have no idea what % it is. All I know is I have a boner constantly. I have squeezed it for 4 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds. I dont hear a click or feel a buzz. Obviously there must be a valve of some type. Once you depress the button, how long does the valve stay open? The same question would be for the inflate bulb.

If you have the AMS pump. What I do is keep the button pressed in while I squeeze the fluid out of my Dick. Hope that helps.

Thanks Cajun, Do you get the cylinders to totally go soft? Do you think once you release the button, the valve is closed?

My AMS MS pump took a long time to break in and work fairly properly. Right now as far as I know the deflate works as advertised. If I am inflated to max most times I will not feel the click when I first push the deflate button. I think there is too much preasure. But if I release after bleeding off some pressure and push again or was not max inflated it will click and I can release and the buzz of fluid going back will continue. I can squeeze fluid out or simply push it down and stow in my under ware. Now if I don't inflate again for several days moving around with normal activities and pulling it out and putting it back to pee deflates it more as it is locked in deflate mode. My tips will work down in my shaft and be uncomfortable. So I just put a pump or several and the pop in the pump locks it into inflate mode and it will stay the way I want it for as long as I want. That is until the next time I inflate. This is the only pump I have had and others may have different results. Hope this helps.

The deflating , you will hear a click. It takes a vigorous squeeze. If you don't hear and feel the buzz you didn't squeeze hard enough. As said before once you squeeze it stays in deflate mode until you inflate again. When you do inflate again, you will hear and feel the pop as it resets to pump mode.

Thanks guys, your responses really help. I never knew you were either in inflate or deflate mode and each one turns the other off. I'm hopeful that its just a case of me not squeezing hard enough to deflate and not a faulty device. I thought I was squeezing pretty hard. It will be a relief to release the pressure. After years of ED, I never thought I would say I am tired of having full wood all day, every day!

Ahhhh, unbelievable. You guys are the best!! OK, I didn't hear the click but I did feel about 4 different squirts/buzzes. "vigorous" is putting it mildy Still not totally soft but the pressure has been relieved. I can actually get in and out of my car without killing myself. Thanks All!!!

The AMS DVD talks and shows how to operate the pump. Also shows what to do if either valve gets stuck.

I'm still swollen at almost 4 weeks but can feel part of the pump. Watching the DVD was more informative then anything that I've read or seen on the web.
