Hi everyone. As you know, i'm doing my research while considering an implant.
I will not lie to you: size matters for me. That's why i would like the surgeon to implant me the correct measurements for my size, and not underestimate them.

My penis is about 18 cm long, and 14cm in girth. I'm talking about NON BONE PRESSED measurements, so bone pressed is about 20.

Is there a prosthesis which have these measurements? I liked the AMS LGX for the smaller flaccid, but on the BS websites it say that their maximum prosthesis lenght is like 21cm , and 24cm for the CX model.

Does the Titan produce longer cylinders, or should i say "goodbye" to my 20cm penis? Please, note that i would like to have the less RTEs possible.. So i don't think i would accept a 5-6cm RTEs.. i know that they reduce the erectile power by a large degree.

Haven't heard of a 8" implant. so you will lose both length and girth. If you can get by with Trimex injections I would suggest that. If that doesn't work then what does it matter that your 8" dick can't get hard enough for penetration? Not trying to be a dick but those that are implanted are grateful for having a hard dick more than the size. To answer your question, the Titan would be your best bet since they make the longest and girthierest implant. Gook luck.

Unfortunately, the size thing is too important for me. It's a really long story. But thanks for the reply

To add some of my insights, since I’ve lost some length to being over weight I was about your size when I started down the ED trail. You need to remember that the glans has a different blood flow and adds to your over all length the implant is mostly shaft.

I also thought I saw somewhere that both AMS and Coloplast have bigger implants but are special order that is something only your surgeon can answer.

Have similar length on my end so i've done a lot of research on this. Don't think it's that huge and a Titan XL would work just fine. From what i understand pretty much Titan is the only choice. Although AMS does make a 24cm CX implant.

Another thing to consider, if you're at a point where you're considering an implant and other methods are giving you less than adequate results (pills, injections), you're not really losing anything anyway because in a year or two of non-use (non-erections) you will lose inches anyway. If you can preserve much of what you have now with an implant, you can likely retain that size through regular cycling through the life of your implant and probably your next (and next) as well.

Waynetho is very correct. Once nighttime erections stop. Your penis is going to start shrinking...fast. By the time you decide that you'll accept a 1 inch loss. You've likely will of lost 2 inches. Then the acceptance process starts over & you risk loosing even more.
Living 50 to 70 more years with a shrinking dick & no erections because you wouldn't get an implant for fear of loosing length is foolish. First priority is an erection.
Have you actually talked to a surgeon about an implant? What did he recomend?
Btw, there has been another member that had your attitude. I think he lost almost 1/3 of his length before getting the loss stopped. Your decision, do as you please. But please understand that this condition & how it progresses is very well documented. If you delay too long, you won't be an exception to what happens.

Is there any research about loss of function and penis shrinking?

For example, if you do get night time tumescence but it's not as hard as what it used to be, will that cause shrinkage?

It is not like a light switch. As in it does not start all at once. The damage is like diabetes. It is progressive but steady in nature. I cannot quote any study on this statement. Lets say that you used to get 5 nighttime erections. I highly doubt that if you're getting only 1 that you are safe.
This was my experience. One of my most shocking conversations with my wife was one day about a year ago. She took ahold of my dick & exclaimed "you've lost size....a lot"!. The tone in her voice when she said "a lot" still rings in my mind. I was still getting a few nighttime erections at that time.
When my doctor did my stretch test measurement was another humbling experience.
Look guys. I don't get anything out of telling you about my experiences. I could easily read literally many hundreds of old posts. Make my decision without making a single post. Get an implant & live my life happy.
That isn't my nature. My last 20 years working I was a working leader in a technical field in the aerospace industry. I even mentored at a local tech school for 1 1/2 years for no pay. Sharing is part of my nature.
Frwmw1 & all of you guys on the fence. I cannot say that you're not loosing size. Mainly because in my experience, I believe that you probably are loosing a little every month. Just not enough to notice. Just like happened to me.
Get on a size preservation cycle. If you don't see much chance of your e/d at least becoming stable. Btw, e/d is a progressive condition most of the time. Get your butt into a good urologist that has the ability to do implants. His honesty will likely shock you. He won't try to talk you into an implant. The good surgeons are not short on patients. My first appointment was almost 2 months away from my phone call.
