Hi,
1. Your poll doesn't have an option for between 21 up to 49%.

2. I have lost sensitivity, but I can't really quantify it.

3. To me, it doesn't seem pleasurable at all anymore, really. (I guess that means I lost it all.) The only sensation I really notice is the burning pain when I erect it. (The advice some others have given is to not erect it fully, so that it won't be painful. Supposedly, according to that advice, you get an implant, but then can't erect it fully to use it. I hate that thought, personally. )

4. My situation doesn't seem to have an average or better outcome. Others probably do fine. Just be aware that a bad implant dr. will do a bad job. Get the best Dr. you can get.

Good luck.

Hi, your question might need some tweaking. If I had answered your question 8 weeks after the implant, I would have said I lost about 25% sensitivity. But at 6 months it was back to normal. Your final sensitivity can't be determined until at least 3 months post-op. At least that is my experience. :?:

If what you say is true and "you'll regain sensitivity in 3 months" post-op, then I'm royally screwed. My sensitivity has not returned and I'm almost 7 months post-op. :x

I lost 50% sensetivity before i was implanted. Suspect a combination of finastride, and excessive VED duration. I lost more after implant and now have almost no sensation at all. I dont blame the implant as it started well before the installation.

Sensitivity essentially the same as pre-implant. Vaginal, masturbation...very very close to what I felt prior. Anal became possible now due to my slight decrease in size. And sensitivity via anal is mind-bending...just awesome. As others have said, focus on selecting a surgeon who is a verifiable pro at this...don't select someone who dabbles.

Interesting conversation and question. Pre-op, I never dwelled on the prospect of any tactile sensitivity loss to any part of my external equipment. Truth be told, however, I have lost sensitivity to my shaft. No amount of fondling, caressing, stroking my shaft or scrotum gives me any pleasure. My glans continues to be my primary focal point for stimulation 2 years post-op. Just my 2-cents...

I seem to have more sensitivity after my implant than I did before. I feel like it was when I was young.
