Year and one half implant update

Have not posted on board for a long time since implant. Quite frankly, extreme disappointment since orgasm was impossible for me pre and post implant during intercourse. Even though sex felt good, I'd go for 45 minutes and nothing. As a PCa patient I racked it up to extensive surgical nerve damage and lack of having a prostate.
WRONG!
Since PCa diagnosis (10 years ago) I have been taking antidepressants (serotonin type which are most common). They help with anxiety for sure. Implant gave me a great erection but no climax. I knew serotonin meds had a role with sexual performance but had no idea how bad. Finally decided to drop these toxic meds under docs supervision. Within two weeks orgasm's returned with a vengeance. OMG, look what I have been missing. I can go 5 minutes or 30 minutes with complete orgasm control.
In short, if you are on these meds post implant and can't "get off". Talk with your doctor. There are alternatives like "Wellbutrin" which work on dopamine not serotonin. Wellbutrin worked with achieving orgasm but I couldn't sleep. I had to quit it also. Thought I'd share my experience, everybody reacts differently and this is not medical advice.

Can make women anorgasmic, too.

I'm not sure which way LS means his post. A couple of weeks ago, my wife mentioned that after implant she'll miss my orgasm. She did not understand that prostate surgery was the complicating factor, not the implant.
She thrives on my ejaculation, so much so that it can trigger an orgasm for her.

My girlfriend loves the feeling of my ejaculation inside her and also feels the pulsing of my glans when I do. Separate things and she loves them both. From what I have read, when a man orgasms without semen, the contractions (that used to propel the semen) still take place. From that, I imagine the glans pulsations will also still take place.
What I meant, though, was that the drugs (taken by the woman) can be equally inhibiting for a woman's orgasm as a man's. (Which, given how difficult it can be for a woman to orgasm, is doubly bad news for women needing mood-altering prescriptions.)

I don't take any SSRIs and I'm still unable to orgasm, which I had no problem with prior to IPP surgery. Any other thoughts, guys?

I've heard about "PT-141", a drug used to improve sexual desire and make orgasm easier. Maybe u can give a shot?

This from a clinic in the U.S..."PT-141 is a new innovative peptide hormone treatment that works for both men and women to improve sexual function. PT-141 is an effective and efficient treatment for both erectile dysfunction and increased libido in men and improves female sexual arousal disorder in women. PT 141 works directly through the nervous system to increase arousal, desire, and satisfaction with sex. PT 141 peptide gives you the desire and motivation along with the ability to increase blood flow to the penis or vagina and clitoris, returning the intimacy and passion to your relationship. PT 141 addresses those issues to help resolve sexual difficulties." This treatment is generally administered by nasal spray.
I had not heard about this drug until your post. Certainly worth checking out further. Tomorrow night for the first time I will be trying a different nasal spray recommended by my surgeon...oxytocin. Hopefully I'll have successful results to post.

I hope that for you barry, i did my best to help ya! You deserve it. Maybe oxytocin + PT-141 may be a shot for you. It may not repare your damaged nerves, but overstimulate the working ones and give you pleasure! Let us know.
