How long to use VED post op

I can find many threads on VED use, both pre and post op I couldn't find anything on long term use after implantation.
My question is for how long can you see gains after your implant? Will using the VED continue to have benefits after several months of use or will cycling alone, over several months , give you just as much gains?
I didn't lose any length after surgery so my question is primarily about gaining girth. Thanks

Recently implanted and don’t start pumping until 28th. I asked my surgeon about VED use after implant and he didn’t recommend. Stated the best way to increase length/girth was from the “insides”, cycling regularly. Count yourself lucky if you didn’t loose length. I lost almost 2 inches the 3 years post prostatectomy..

Good luck.

There is no consensus on this from doctors. I think they are just telling you what they think off the top of their head. These cylinders are tough stuff, using a VED is not going to rupture them, and if it helps coax a few more pumps into it then you ARE expanding it from the inside.

Here is a paper on post surgery use and it says the men in the study were recommended to use VED twice a day for 5 minutes while inflated. https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/d88 ... action.pdf

And here is https://file.scirp.org/pdf/ASM_2013012514045982.pdf a link for the paper on pre surgery use of VED from the "Documents Worth Reading List" in the general section of this board. Lots of good stuff to read over there and a good place to look for answers.

I asked my doc after first implant about VED use and his answer was: NO, NO and he mentioned concord syndrome which means that glans penis is pointing down when erected same as concord airplane.
