Blood flow to the head after implant? And VED questions?

I was implanted 10/13. Been cycling for a few weeks. Already having sex. Very pleased with my results so far. My head doesn't seem to engorge, especially when fully inflated. It's better if I partially deflate but still not much. Does this get better with time? I've read some posts about using a VED to recover size after implant. Could this help recover some blood flow to the head? Haven't discussed using a VED with the doctor yet. How soon after implant did you start using a VED?

The blood flow to the Head/Glans is different then the penile shaft. So the prosthesis itself will not help head engorgement, did you have head engorgement before?

Pure speculation on my part (although I think I have heard some of the knowledgeable guys allude to this before), but could it be the case that when you fully inflate you are compressing the corpus spongiosum to some degree?
That would reduce the flow of blood to the glans. That would also explain why you can gain more engorement when only partially inflated.
I wonder, if you were to kegel during partial inflation, filling the glans with blood, and then fully inflate, would that retain some blood in the glans?
If nothing else, you could try a cock ring.

Are you still feeling a discomfort or pain when you are inflated? If so this will effect your glans because the glans still gets a natural erection so you need arousal for that.. do you wake up in the morning with some blood in the glans. Also maybe try a wank with only afew pumps on your own where there is no pressure and just as much as ya can relax into it. Then you might see more glans engorgement

Yes I did have head engorgement before even without using the VED. I have tried foreplay before inflating but it didn't seem to help.

I was thinking the same thing. That's why I was asking if it gets better with time. Tried foreplay and simulation before inflating but after inflating the little bit I gained seemed to shrink back down.

I still have slight discomfort when I inflate to the max when cycling. 80-90% is good enough for sex without discomfort.

Same issue here. The implant works flawlessly but the glans wasn't as sensitive. I mentioned this to the urologist and he prescribed a "tri-mix" gel. About an hour before, I put .5mL of the gel into the meatus and (holding the tip closed), massage the gel in the urethra. After that, any gel the oozes out of the tip , I rub on the glans and shaft. No kidding, the glans is fuller the when I was 17, and you want to talk about sensitive...OMG, game changer.

Unfortunately, the urethra gels didn't do anything to help with my glans engorgement. Neither did the surgeon-prescribed nasal spray. However, I'm happy for you.

Thanks, I'll ask the doctor about this.
