I have ed + loss of sensation— will an implant give me sensation again?

Postby 25yoandthissucks » Thu Dec 17, 2020 6:46 pm

Hi guys,

I have loss of sensation along with ed due to a lower ab nerve injury. Along with this injury is some loss of sensation. Will an implant give me sensation back?

Hi,
I’m not a doctor but I know from research that orgasm, sensation, libido, and erection are separate so I wouldn’t think an implant would help; implants only fix erection problems.

Good luck

Ok. I might be wrong on the assessment that the injury caused lack of sensation because i know that i also have a tight pelvic floor.

Are you currently seeing a Urologist?
Please don't rely on the Internet. The Internet can help you research, but if you apply that to yourself, you will drive yourself crazy.
I agree with wunhunglo. The human body is way too complex for the layman, so talk to your doctor and then research what he/she said.
Good Luck.

Have you tried physical therapy. Please look into hard flacid syndrome.

Ask your urologist about Cabergoline. It’s a prescription that can help with sensitivity and orgasm.

nerve loss is a bitch. An implant will not give you feeling and your penis and glans will not plump up either. At your age I would be looking into nerve repair or the new technologies in nerve stimulation .Definatly not implant.

There is a procedure being done in Australia that connects your erectile function to nerves in your upper thigh.

There's a lot of questions that are pertinent. First, abdominal or spinal injury? This would have bearing on the spinal nerve levels potentially affected. The abdomen is generally mid to lower lumbar innervation; erection, ejaculation, sphincter control is sacral innervation. Some abdominal nerve injuries could leave numbness on the skin of the upper inner thighs, but would not affect the other functions. A urologist would go over all of that with you.
