Hi guys. After reading your journals, i was ready for the idea of an implant. Today i went to a good italian doctor for a consultation and he told me things that i hated to hear. Honestly, i'm starting to think that i'm just doomed to depression and impotence for life.

He told me that i should try PRP for Peyronie's, but by reading the studies i already know it doesnt give great results and will never be able to reverse my situation. It costs a lot and i'm not going to spend all that money just for a "try" (his words, so no guarantee).

Then he told me that "for sure i will lose at least 2cm with an implant". I told him: "But Doc, i've stretched my flaccid penis to the maximum, why don't you do it like me?" He said that i've stretched the flaccid penis too much and, if they insert me a prosthesis with that measurements, i will probably have a glans ischemia or an extrusion.
And this because i've stretched really a lot the penis while flaccid.

Then i asked him about the girth: i've said him that, if i stretch to the maximum extension, my girth is ridicolous, like 7-8 cm or 3.15 inches. He told me that with a Titan i will have for sure more girth than that, but i will probably lose 1-2 cm even in girth.

So: i've already lost 1 full inch in lenght and 0.5" inch in girth by Peyronie; then i'll have to accept another 0,5-1" loss in lenght and probably the same loss in girth.
My only question is: WTF is that? Is that an option?? Sorry, not for me. I don't want to insult anyone who lost that size, but for me it is just not acceptable.
I apologize for everyone for this post, i'm really angry and depressed and honestly i don't know what to do now in my life.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: By reading your journals, people here told me that american doctors can give you the same lenght and girth you had PRE-IMPLANT. Do doctors like Eid measure you like mine? Do they REALLY stretch to the maximum or they just take your penis and stretch a little bit like my doctor? Trust me i've really stretched to the maximum with both hands and my doctor said it's not feasible because i would risk an extrusion, so he has to bring down 1.5-2 cm.

P.S. = Please don't tell me the old tale "even if you lose 2", at least you have a working penis" because we are humans with dignity, we the men have a psychology like women and we deserve to be good with ourselves too. It's just not a matter to fuck, i would just not recognize that penis as mine. Sorry again to everyone if you feel offended but that's it.

I've heard about that, but i've seen many videos of surgeons doing that and they don't induce a real full strong 100% erection, but rather a 60-70-80% erection. Because of fibrosis, when my penis is at 70% erection, it is really curved, shorter and with less girth. Then when at 100% it seems like a normal penis, but i have ED and a curvature which doesnt bother me..

My immediate conclusion is that your Dr is under promising with the intention of over delivering.

He knows you're a distressed young man, tense, anxious. He needs you to be prepared for a hard journey, but one that will end well.
When we first come out of the operating room, we're going to have something shorter and thinner than we had going in. It's only through cycling over time that size will recover. BUT IT DOES RECOVER! You've read all the journals here, the vast VAST majority get it back.

His big fear is that you come out of the operating room expecting things to be ideal immediately. The worst thing he can do is over promise and under deliver. So he does the opposite. We all do this as we get older and craftier. You tell this boss you will achieve A, B maybe C, but won't get D done today.
You know fine you will, but set his expectations low and you'll be a hero when you surprise him by getting it all done. It's a trick old as time and they sure as hell do it in surgery, almost all the time. I bloody would!

You won't lose girth with a Titan, you will GAIN girth, you will regain most of you length, to the point it won't be a significant difference. He just doesn't want you to freak out in the early days.

I am someone that catastrophises too, so I could hear my own voice when I read your post.

Now stop wasting your life, get on the email/phone and get booked in the implant. Don't be stupid about this all. Calm down and get it done, it's going to be great in the end.

I saw Eid yesterday for measurement. He used injection to induce erection and he was able to measure and tell me approximately what size implant I will get. He said he will have several sizes on hand but is pretty sure he knows which he will use. He also did a sonogram. I have a venous leak and peyronies with about a 25% curve. He said I will gain a little girth and the Titan implant will straighten most of the curve. Go to the right guy.

@LeRoast I can tell you for sure that he will NOT overdeliver me anything. He just said what i could expect and its just not acceptable to me. I would prefer to undergo a brutal elongation procedure even with 30% of infection risk rather than losing another full inch. Sorry im not angry with you, i appreciate your help

@ViaSwiss and @Jersey58 , you're right, maybe i should just think about USA. But USA is really far from me and just the fly ticket costs hundreds of euros. Furthermore i can't travel outside Italy now.. I want to hear what Djinovic will be able to "promise" me also, many people say that Djinovic is a "wizard" in surgeries, i hope he will be able to give me AT LEAST my actual size now..

I don't believe that PRP will be of significant help.
But do consider Xiaflex

The above is something that might be possible. But there also seems to be a lot of acceptance of patients and doctors for size loss. But the studies show there are steps that can reduce or eliminate it. Minimum I would do is ask to speak to other men who received implants by that doctor and ask them about size loss.

You did not give the doctor's name but Gabriele Antonini has been working with Dr. Perito a well know doctor in the US in Florida. And they have a published together with others https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/d88 ... action.pdf So if your doctor is one of the ones in that study you might ask your doctor about that. If not you might check with Antonini.

I understand you (and I) are not asking to be bigger just not to have a doctor short change us when it is not necessary. Good luck going forward with this.

@Bond , Xiaflex would not be good for me. I have diffuse fibrosis, not an hard localized plaque.

@newbie433, i know a guy who underwent the surgery with Antonini and he doesn't talk very well about him. So i prefer to avoid him. But thanks for the advice.
