Hello guys

So theres been a lot of talk about this but can ya'll please help me understand. Today was my first treatment of urogold shock therapy. This was also my meeting with doctor who shpwed me about the implants felt them and learned how to inflate and deflate. I was always a 7 full erect before PFS/ED now with a good viagra erection im 6.5 he did a strech test where he didnt pull to the max just minimum he told me that showers benefit from implants not growers for growers its not beneficial and to expect my implant to be around 5 or even less. This doesnt make sense if i can grow into it why cant he get me my implant with is my size. I didnt argue much beacuse end of the day ill have a dick that works but its messed up. Any grower who was able to maintain his lengh after implant please give me some advices. I also asked the doctor if hes going to put saline and inflate it he said he will do it in the OT before the surgury. My doctor doesnt seem much interested in maintaining and preserving my length since he wants me to have a functional one.

I was an extreme grower before the implant, from like 1-2" to 6" from soft to hard. I lost maybe a quarter of an inch getting the implant, and it seems great, can't really even tell the difference in length or girth. Whatever your viagra erection gives you is what you should be able to get with an implant, barring any physiological issues that would affect it (scar tissue, etc). Your skin and the tissues can obviously stretch to that point!

It sounds like your doctor's goals are not aligned with yours. You should seek another opinion if you have the opportunity.

I was a grower. 2.5" to 3" flaccid and 6" erect. After implant, I am 6" erect. There (as you suggested) there is NO reason your erect implanted penis should be any smaller than your (immediately pre-op) erect penis, no matter what your flaccid state is. If your surgeon does not understand this, he needs to go back to school or quit surgery. The implant goes into the tunica albuginea up to the furthest extent of the distal tip and down into the furthest extent of the proximal crus JUST AS YOUR CORPUS CAVERNOSUM DOES when it is working correctly.

Study some of the videos on Youtube to understand how the length measurement is taken INSIDE the penis. Then talk to your surgeon about his measuring technique. If he does not explain satisfactorily what (you reported in your post) he said, find another surgeon. You are part of your medical care team and should be included with full participation by all the professional members.

edited to add: Does your case of Hard Flaccid Syndrome affect your surgeon's opinion on your ultimate size?

I don't think the surgeon injects saline into your penis to induce an erection before the surgery. That may be a technique I have not seen mentioned? Injecting an erectile drug before surgery is not uncommon (usually, I believe, in a pre-op appointment, days or weeks before surgery). I never imagined a surgeon would start surgery on an erect penis.

Change your doctor. Simple as that. A good doctor will always try to give you max implant so you recover your size fully.

What I would do:

1. Change doctors, go to somebody like Dr. Eid
2. Start traction and VED therapy
3. Try out injections

At worst, if you can get a good erection with injection then its size should match the implant's size.

Prior to my surgery, my doc didn't want to know what I thought my size was.
He never did an injection or a stretch test prior to surgery until I was out.
He said he'd induce an erection and use that measurement.
However he did it, he did it right and I was right at my prior size when I first activated.
I've even picked up a fraction of an inch, but not enough to call home about.

Also to add to what Lost Sheep said, I believe the surgeon (actually the anesthesiologist) will give you drugs that will relax the Dartos layer which is the smooth muscle layer that causes the penis to retract. With your penis fully relaxed, the surgeon should be able to get an accurate full-length (erection length) measurement from the *INSIDE* of your penis while on the table. If the Dartos muscles remained contracted, the surgeon could only stretch as much as your flaccid retracted size but thankfully that's only due to muscular contraction which can be relaxed with the right drugs (I read about them somewhere but I don't remember which drugs actually are used for this.)

Is showers vs growers actually a medical thing?

I always thought the difference between a shower vs grower is skin and smooth muscle elasticity, this gets worse with age and so while a young guy may be a grower, as he gets older he can become a shower.

I’m not devastated but after a year I’m still looking at a cock somewhat smaller than I had.

Before I had a legitimate, professionally validated measurement of 6.85”x6.02”. Yes I told women it was a 7” cock and thick and nobody ever called me on it.

It’s not as big but it’s still plenty big. It’s hard so it delivers so much more in the way of friction and sensation that I cum in 10-15 minutes instead of never.

I think girth would not have been an issue with a Titan but I have to give the AMS credit for behaving like s regular duck when not pumped up.

I was at less than 5 right after surgery, and was kinda pissed. The doctor laughed and swore cycling would stretch things and any loss I finally ended up with would be inconsequential.

Can you foresee s situation where a woman would favor a 6.8x6 over a until 1/2x5 1/2 enough to make an issue? I sure can’t. Especially when the smaller implanted one functions so much better.

My dick has always been nice looking, ruddy complexion, nice veins (some too nice, hence tre venous leakage). None of that has changed.

I thought cycling to get back size was s crock unyil after a year I’m nearly back to the start point.
