Pumping

When I pump I have done full pumps. And I seem to be able to pump for ever with a small amount of tightness (pain). It seems like I could pump forever. Pump bulb does not get too hard to pump or collapse. If I partially squeeze bulb 1/3 to 1/2 I can build maximum pressure quickly 6 or 8 partial pumps(ouch). Has anyone else noticed that partial pumps create higher pressure?

This was common for me with my AMS with a Momentary Squeeze pump until I figured out what was happening.

You are most likely also lightly pressing the deflate button while doing the full squeezes, probably toward the end of the squeeze. This is letting the pressure you just added trickle out slightly and the more pressure, the more that will be lost by pressing the deflate button.

I learned to grip the pump in such a way as to avoid the deflate button but also learned that using partial pumps rather than full pumps will in fact help avoid the deflation button sufficiently so I can pump quickly without taking such care to avoid the button. YMMV.

Excellent information....especially for us newly implanted guys.

Thanks for the reply I hold tubes next to the pump with left-hand and pump with the right hand think I am staying away from deflate button. Will take extra care to not touch. I believe I am staying away from the deflate.
